Only open during the warmer months! However, there is an abandoned soviet village that can be visited at any time. :)

a wonderful place to visit, if you go, definitely reserve 1-1.5 hours, you need to inform in advance for the tour, otherwise you will not be able to enter the territory. The guide is great and tells very interesting stories

It wasn't precisely telescope, but it's the abandoned place that is exactly near Irbenes Telescope that is also very atmospheric

Labai įdomus objektas. Kadaise priklausęs rusijos kariškiams, dabar apleistas. Pakeliui į radarą yra kariškių, taip pat jau apleistas meistelis. Ten taip pat įdomu palandžioti, bet per tiek laiko beveik nieko įdomesnio jau nebelikę. Lokatorių su tecninėm patalpom jungia tunelis. Ir į tunelį, ir į patį radioteleskopą galima patekti tik iš anksto susitarus. Geriausia tai padaryti diena prieš.

Унас была отличная экскурсия на русском языке, гид сам работник радио телескопа рассказывал много интерестного про антены, как все работает и работало раньше.

Sehr beeindruckende Anlage, die man unbedingt gesehen haben sollte, wenn man in der Gegend ist. Der Guide ist kompetent und man sollte ihn auf jeden Fall buchen. Leider ist die Webseite nur auf Lettisch.
