Best food with best vibes for absolutely the best price you’ll find. If you do yourself a kindness today, eat here. I cleared my bowl twice- and I am a very picky eater. Fresh food, curry constantly being made. Those tiny okra things? Double up on them! Wowza. Incredible meal.

If only I’ve come sooner! Really lovely plate of Sri lankan breakfast and the most delicious papaya juice ( finally an icy cold juice ). Friendly staff, decent portion, cute cafe. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place that makes you feel that you are at home. Super tasty local food made with love. Vegan buffet. Super cheap price. Ocean view. It’s a must if you love Sri Lankan food. Not spicy at all. Come before 5.

The best local food in the area! 🤩 For only 1400 rupees you have all you can eat vegetarian buffet. The food is homemade and you can see the chefs cooking. There is plenty of space to sit both inside and outside. Juices are also super delicious for only 800 rupees.

Veda Cafe is all you can eat, you can usually select 2 types of rice and a quite big verity of add on's.
Additionally you can order some fresh juice /ice tea /coffee

Milk rice with creamy mushroom has a great texture and tastes very delicious. Rich in flavours! Beautiful place with a nice view of Kabalana beach, plus super competent staff.

Folks, just simply amazing. Simple because finally I find a good (and non spicy!) all you can eat rice and curry and greens. While you’re watching the waves breaking in front of you and with surprisingly delicious smoothies. Cheers again for feeding me through my 3 weeks around here!

Very authentic and atmospheric cafe. The curry is very tasty and not spicy. I would like to emphasize the freshes and lassi - a non-standard combination of ingredients and insanely delicious.

The breakfast was amazing. Best banana bread I‘ve ever had. Coconut roti with egg also super tasty. Will come back.

My favourite place to eat in Ahangama/probably everywhere in SL. Quality, earthy food and kind service. The finger millet porridge has wonderful spices and all the colours of the rainbow in the buffet. Came back many times! Thank you! 😁

I can only recommend the Veda Café to everyone. We were there for lunch and they offered a buffet with various dishes. Everything tasted really good and was very reasonably priced. The view of the sea from the upper floor is also very nice.

There was simply no better food and price ratio in all of Ahangama.
I really enjoyed the food, it's different, the place is very cozy, and I finally got a good iced coffee! A top-notch service

Really great place with kind staff, relaxed atmosphere, and delicious food! The rice and curry buffet is amazing and very reasonably priced! We also had the breakfast which was equally as good!

The ladies in the kitchen were so nice, and the owners are super friendly and gave us a heap of tips.

Get the green smoothie (their specialty) also, I would be happy to come here everyday.

100% recommend stopping here for there all you can eat lunch buffet. 1400rupees but we had a few curries we hadn’t tasted yet and we’ve been in the country for nearly a month. Super tasty!! And really helpful and friendly owner. The watermelon passion fruit mint juice was also really refreshing and tasty
