Helapa kade - Gamini ayyage pol roti

Nice place to stop by if you are travelling in Kandy-Colombo road. Pol roti and wade are iconic with their unique kinds of sambal. Don’t forget to drink a plain tea with some jaggery and favour your taste buds too.

Favourite place to have roti and tea. Great hospitality. Would recommend to anyone who wants to fill their tastebuds. ( couldn't take a picture before tasting it 😉)

A really good place to have a quick snack while you are travelling through Colombo-Kandy Road. This shop run by a local family. Really friendly service. Don't forget to try "Alakola sambal" with poll roti. If you are looking for local cuisine, this is the place.

Of you are traveling on Kandy Colombo road this is a good place to stop for a tea. Highly recommend their "Roti" with spicy Curries. It's between Mawanalla and Kadugannawa(more closer to Kadugannawa) . Even though there are several Small shops for "Roti" between kegalle and Kadugannawa, this is a clean place with good customer service.
