Udawalawe National Park Safari Tour

Pretty nice national park. We had no waiting time when we entered the park. The animal seems to be very relaxed and not stressed at all. Many elephants around in this park.

A beautiful National Park in Sri Lanka. We did a morning Safari and saw such a huge variety of wildlife. Yes the Elephants are the main attraction here but we also saw Deer, Monkeys, Buffalo, Crocodiles, many different birds, peacocks, lizards etc. One truck also saw a Leopard!! Our guide was great and we told him we didn't want to chase or crowd elephants like some other tours were doing. The Park is huge and plenty of space for the animals to hide from Tourists.

The best way to view these beautiful creatures in their habitat. I can only compare to Yala, but I definitely saw more animals (especially elephants) at Udawalawe.

The various jeep tour drivers do a good job communicating with each other to ensure everyone sees particular herds when they emerge from the bush.

You’ll see elephant families, water buffalo, crocodiles, monkeys, jackals, deer, peacocks, eagles, hawks and many many other birds. Even a leopard if you’re lucky.

A grand park to view native wildlife in a natural setting. Though the lake is man made the area creates great opportunity for viewing wildlife.

You can spot more elephants so closely and they do not harm.

WOW! What an incredible experience we had with Udawalawe Safari Fun. Firstly, the driver that we had was incredible, on time, turned the engine off when approaching and close to the animals, kept his distance so he wasn’t intrusive in their space, gave us some snacks, stopped at every opportunity to show us animals we would have never been able to spot including TINY lizards on little branches. elephant orphanage is the best place to see baby Elephants they take well care of them .nice place yo visit on milk feeding times

Beautiful national park with vibrant float and fauna - saw many elephants, including 2 weeks elephant child, different birds, crocodile, many peacocks and national bird of Sri Lanka - Jungle Fowl.

The national parks in Sri Lanka charge guite high price for an entrance - it was 75 dollars at the time of my visit + jeep and driver service.

Its a place to see lots of Elephants around.. some tuskers can be seen..lots of birds in their habitat .. crocodiles,dears,buffalos are common

Wanna see baby elephants ? Go here.thay even let you bare adoption charges of a baby elephant until that baby freed to the jungle.the day they free the baby, they invite you as the chief guest.you can pick a name for the baby even.very successful program.

Great national Park. Tickets are quite expensive but worthwhile.
