Hurry Surf School

Really friendly and encouraging teaching! Hurry got me standing up when I have failed many times before. He is really good at spotting and helping you to correct your errors . He is always smiling and will make you enjoy your lessons. Highly recommended !

We rented a boad and a board+lesson for my 13 and 15 year old kids and they both had a great time 1500 lesson and 500 for board for 2 hours. Would return great fun friendly guy.

Отличная школа. Взяли у ребят по 10 занятий для двух взрослых и двух детей, дети катались в первый раз и быстро встали.

Ребята устроили нам празднование фулмун с большим костром тунцом и креветками.

Помогли с поиском катера для поездки на китов, и порекомендовали еще пару интересных мест.

Жили с подругами 12 дней в Мириссе.
Пробовали тренить с разными лакийцами - и в Мириссе, и Вилигаме (где все тренят).
Но после Гарри - остались с ним:

- знает многие нюансы - те, которые не объяснили до него другие тренеры:
- достаточно понятно говорит по-русски;
- есть включенность в процесс - следит как едем до конца волны, реагирует на твоё состояние.
Как говорится - есть контакт.

Ну, и сам раньше очень отжигал на серфе (видели видео).

Klasse Surfschule gut und preiswert

First day kids had surf lessons with Hurry and all was great. Came back next day to hire boards and, upon returning the boards, guy found a gash in side of one that he accused us of doing. My daughter is adamant that she looked after the board well and nothing happened to it while she was using it. Unfortunately we hadn't checked the boards first before hiring them so couldn't be certain. They demanded 40,000 lkr which we ended up paying after wasting too much time arguing with them.

Scam. Rented board for wife for 250 SLR then told we broke board when their was a small crack in the rail. Pretty sure we didn’t crack board but didn’t fully check before renting. Regardless, board was very old and had a bunch of repairs already. Told it would be 50,000 SLR to fix. Board sells in Colombo brand new for about 80,000 SLR. We live in Colombo and that was about a 2000 SLR repair (I have been surfing 18 years). Told them to call police but they wouldn’t do it. Then they tried to grab my board which I had brought and got in the way of us leaving. Finally just paid them 5000 SLR to let us leave while they complained that they didn’t make enough money and we were rich. Plenty of choices along the beach so avoid this one.

AVOID! rented board from this company, when taking board out into the water we noticed the tail was damaged. We returned the board immediately to exchange it for an undamaged board. The guy running the company said we must pay for the damage that we did not cause, when we refused he got very aggressive. Stay clear of these guys. Looking at the reviews this is not the first time. Do your self a favour and walk further up the beach to beach break .
