Very cool place, especially with instructor Sam. We took the 'from zero to hero' packages, and it was a perfect choice. After 7 days, we were able to catch waves independently without the instructor's assistance. Highly recommended! 🌊

I recommend this school to learn surfing. Lessons with Prasa were always professional and fun. I liked that lessons were not only practical but also theoretical. I fell in love with surfing and will definitely come back next time

I came here a bit randomly for my 3rd surf lesson ever, and I found a really good instructor (Sasaka, if I remember correctly. I really suggest you reserve some lessons with him). I was really satisfied and decided to come another time. Moreover, quality of the boards is better than in other schools. Good vibes, nice instructor!

Highly recommend Sam from Sun in Surf. Over 5 lessons my sons aged 13 and 11 progressed from soft boards to fibreglass. He was great with the kids and got them to try new things when they were ready.

I took 2 lessions in this surf school and also rented a board many times here. Sam was very professional and fun teacher. He really wanted me to understand the waves and I feel that I really learned a lot with his help.

All the other staff were also very friendly. You can also chill on the sunbeds after surfing which was great.

Sam is a great teacher, super patient! The rest of the team are very friendly and easy going. The location is great to chill after surfing, you can stay on the beds for free if you are a customer! Overall, it was a great experience, definitely recommend:)

Had two great lessons with Prasa. Highly recommend! Me and my partner are both beginners and he got us both standing up on the board. He was super informative and patient and also a really nice guy! Would have done more lessons with him if we had more time. Thank you Prasa!

I highly recommend Prasad, very understanding, kind teacher and with humor. I am a beginner and he explained so well the rules. In the water he would always give directions and point out the mistakes and how to correct them. He was great making you overcome the fear of waves and his passion for surf and teaching other persons was very inspiring.

Excellent excellent surf school - as a complete beginner, I was very impressed that Randika the instructor got me riding waves standing up within an hour of my first lesson! Very happy with his expertise, felt safe in his hands. Made great progress because of his fantastic teaching. In my time in Sri Lanka i tried 3 different surfing schools and this one was by far the best one. Sam my surfinstructor was taking his time to explain the waves, which the others did not do. I really recommend Sam if you propperly want to learn surfing. I had a great time with him!

Prasa was amazing!!! He provided so much knowledge and really tweaked our surfing skills to the next level. He covered everything we needed (and everything we didn’t realise we needed to improve on). From body control, board control and understanding the waves he really covered so much info and explained it in such a simple and patient way. Not to mention the experienced level of care, setting us up in the shade for demonstrating, provided zinc sun cream, got us a water. Prasa is the man!!
I think this level of information is often missed from other instructors - ask for Prasa if you want to level up your surfing. I managed to catch the biggest wave I’ve ever caught and read the water so much better now.

After checking out different surf schools, I ended up going with this one and having Prasa as my instructor. I had heard how enthusiastic he was and loved what he did so that was a no brainer and I went for it.

It is indeed true. Such an amazing person who really loves to surf and knows how to surf. You can tell the passion he has for this sport. He is detailed oriented and will teach out everything you need to know.

Prasa has been absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend taking lessons with him. Having not surfed before, he took his time to explain the theory as well as allowing us to have the full hour of practical surfing. Prasa has made the whole experience so enjoyable!

Had three surf lessons here, Prasa was a great teacher who explained the basics and got me surfing waves in no time!

Sam was a very good teacher. The crew is very friendly. The place is nice and you can chill here for the whole day.
