A hidden and calm place near Pelmadulla town, and was blown away by its hidden beauty. Tucked away from the main roads, it offered a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery and the cascading waterfall. I loved exploring the rocks and climbing up to different vantage points of the waterfall.

A stairway is there to reach the waterfall, but seemed that it was not used regularly. A view point is there after climbing down few stairs. Slippery on rainy days. Better to ask the route from a villager since the google map doesn't show the correct spot.

Nice waterfall but not rich in water. Hope in rainy days view will be much good. Bit hard to reach to waterfall. Hard means need to use stairs to reach to waterfall. Small entrance point to waterfall and it is free. Parking not available. Village people will help you to park the vehicles. 20-30 min will take to reach the waterfall from entrance..

You Can go easily to top of Waterfall infront of nearby tea factory pathway down to hill right side of road.

Very clean environment because of less visitors .
Keep it clean 👍💋

But go to bottom of is difficult As parth way not in good condition and damage on some places but you can go with little bit of adventure. 🤪

One of the beautiful falls i have ever visited. You can reach here when you travel towards Kuttapitiya from Pelmadulla. You can park the vehicle on the road side. There is about 15-20 minutes walk downside of the hill. Steps are available hence you don't get so hard to reach to this location. Safe place for bathing. Highly recommended

Google map shows the right location, the waterfall is 6km away from the main pelmadulla road, it’s a easy drive and a scenic road towards the end with an entire view of rathnapura district. I somehow being be I didn’t wanna checkout the waterfall, infact I wanted to c the top of the waterfall where it drops. Dunno for what reason I find the start of the waterfall much more interesting than the drop! Went during rainy season and the area was filled and it was on full flow!

Wonderful waterfall with some amazing views. You can go to the bottom of the fall or the top. There are 521 steps to the bottom of the waterfall from the road. You can drive to the top of the mountain and reach the top of the fall. Then it's like 300m from the road. You can have a bath there and the view is stunning. Recommend this place for a visit.

Kirindi Ella is one of the most beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka. Its take 7th tallest waterfall in the island with a height of 116 m.

To reach this waterfall you have to travel in Colombo – Badulla Main Road. In begining of Pelmadulla town there is a road in the left side named Kuttapitiya. You have to travel about 7 km in that road and you can see a name board at the location of the foot path starts to the waterfall. Google map shows the right location. You have to purchase tickets for this waterfall and value is Rs. 50.00 for per person.

You can go to the bottom of the fall or the top. There is about 15-20 minutes walk downside of the hill. Steps are available hence you don't get so hard to reach to this location

Can go to the Upper Kirindi Ella but you need to go via a private property. Road is beside the Kuttampitiya bus stand.

There's a bit of a steep hike to get to this waterfall, the elderly and children might find it quite challenging. However, it's worth the trek! The water fall has lovely pools of water to bathe in and shaded with the trees around it. Definitely worth the visit! It must be noted that we visited on a weekday in March, therefore it was not crowded.

A charming waterfall situated in a remote village near Pelmadulla. Although it's a quite tough path down there, it's worth a shot. You can visit the waterfall from top also.

This waterfall is among top 10 highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. We can reach here from Pelmadulla town. It would be few kms and the road is good. There are so many places for bathing and if we want to see whole waterfall, there is a watching place when we go above the waterfall. Everyday in the year water are available here. So you can easily drop this waterfall when you go through ratnapura, pelmadulla area.
