Sapugahadola Ella Falls. සපුගහ දොල දියඇල්ල

This place is very beautiful but the way to enter is quite slippery so you have to walk carefully. It is very suitable for bathing and the depth is shallow

It’s a great calm place located in the mid of Kirama Warapitiya Road. It’s near 15m height water fall, and surrounded with rock stones. Its a better place for a fun event too. As there is a safe pond near the bottom of the water fall, its safe for bathing and swimming. But visitors have to be careful about wetted rocks.

Very large trees are surrounded there and the connecting bridge gives us a better experience.

This waterfall known as Sapugahadola Falls (Rammale Falls) is the only waterfall belonging to Hambantota district.
It is found while traveling about 2km from Warapitiya town on the Rammale Kanda road. Let's preserve the beauty of this beautiful place

A calming place to relax and take a bath. This waterfall is situated in Hambantota district and if you are travelling from Matara by bus, you should first go to Walasmulla and then take a bus goes on the Urubokka road. After a 10-15 mins ride, you will reach Warapitiya junction and the waterfall is 3-4 kms away from it. You can take off from the bus in the very place where the waterfall is located.

Since not much people are aware of this, the place is bit untouched. So, don't bring any plastic/polythene and pollute it.

The environment is so calming and water is safe. But the villagers said if it is raining to the upper side don't try to bath in the pool as the water level can be immediately go high.

Not too crowded.A calming place. You need to be careful when reaching near the waterfall. Rocks are a bit slippery.

Not Crowded place. Natural pool is there to Barth. Road is ok to travel from car up to vehicle park but foot path is very unsafe. No any fence as well as no any Staircase. Only have wide narrow slipping concrete road. Be careful to go on foot path.
