Hotel Lotus Lake

It was our second visit to Hotel Lotus Lake, attending a function at a relative's. The serene setting by Udakiriwila Lake offered utmost tranquility. The blissfully calm mornings are characterized by the calm and gentle chirping of birds as the sun rises. The breathtaking panoramic view across the lake from the spacious common balcony is truly captivating.

The staff's exceptional hospitality was evident, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort during both stays. Particularly noteworthy was the assistance provided when one of us fell ill early in the morning during our first visit.

The riveredge dock breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious cuisine. Reasonable pricing for both dining and lodging contributed to the overall delightful experience. Despite the evening pub drawing a crowd, it didn't disrupt the serene atmosphere. While some areas are still under development, they didn't inconvenience the guests.

This place is so magical and beautiful. Hidden gem I would say. Hotel has really good facilities compared to all star level hotels. This is the only hotel you can find around udukiriwala lake to enjoy the beauty of the lake.
The hospitality was great and food is so fresh and excellent. Nuwan Asanka was so kind and nice to us throughout the stay. Breakfast was really delicious. Even with minimum staff they do their best I should say.
Nuwan arranged oru ride immediately after we informed we would like to take a oru tour around the udukiriwala lake. Mohomad Ali was very nice and explaining everything while the oru ride around the udukiriwala lake. Everyone was so helpful.
Morning and evening view is breathtaking. You will feel so homely at this place. I will definitely visit this place again. Even the people around this place and town are so kind and genuine. One of the best places to relax and enjoy the nature.

A good place to have a small function. There is a nice view with the lake in front. Food is ok for the price. The access road is a small size for one vehicle. Turning a vehicle is hazel. Barley can turn a vehicle around. No parking available for the hotel. You have to park the vehicles on the road. The hall is a little compact looking. Pillars all over the place.

Attractive environment..there is a rush road from main road to the hotel itself these days..I think they are reconstructing it..
