Another beautiful place you can visit when you are travelling with looking for uncommon beautiful places to visit in Sri Lanka is "Kombukara Nature Pool and Secret Waterfall". This place is still a hiding place among people.

If you are getting to Ella you won't get any difficult to visit this place. The beauty of the scenery on the way to visit this place is not just a beautiful picture.

If you are travelling from Ella town to Namunukula - Passara road, about 3 km, you can catch the scenery of Little Adam's Peak and Ella Rock. Don't forget to stay for a moment and enjoy the beauty of it. Walking about 10 km from the town of Ella, you will find a famous small town called Ballaketuwa. From there this uncommon Kombukara Nature Pool and Secret Waterfall can reach about 3Km away from Ballaketuwa town.

And there are two waterfalls one is from down. Much crowded for the second on you need to go up. Its like a private waterfall.

Very nice, not many people, just a couple of tourists with tour guides. People don't really know about this pool so it's perfect

A very beautiful natural location to get a good bath. You can buy coconut rottees the shop close by.

Looking for safe place to have a bath around ella area? Well you just found the best spot.

Its a less known place and you got two pools. Lower one is a bit shallow than the upper pool. you'll have to do a 10 min trek to reach the upper pool. its about 200m-300m walk. Anyways both the pools are totally safe (even for kids).

Some people have made rock balanced structures here and its definitely a sight to see.

There's a small Restaurant closer to this place where you get "Roti" and tea. Ask the lady to prepare you meals when you pass the hut and she'll serve them right when you come back.

Hidden gem! There was no tourist and only a few locals. You can climb up your way to higher pools. Super refreshing waters :) you need to hire a tuktuk or scooter to get there. Approximately 25min drive from Ella

Such a beautiful waterfall, you have to go right to the top and very quiet, only locals!

Please go here! Magical place. Climb until you reach the big natural pool (10 minutes from the start). Free footspa by the little fish :) There was nobody else. We drove our own TukTuk there. You can also drink something at the small cafe

Beautiful place! Go further up untill you see waterfall and a pond. The water is a bit cold, but its great after the short hike.

An absolute delight! A hidden gem in this small tamil town. The waterfall is just 2km down the main road after you alight from the bus from Ella (30 Rp each).
It is not difficult to climb up the rocks to get to the higher parts of the waterfall.
Ladies can wear a sari as cover up, as the locals do.

Chill place, pretty and quiet. You can have a swim in clear fresh water. Doesn’t feel touristic.

Nice ride on winding roads to reach pools .. easy access to first pool, then a hefty climb up the rocks to the 2nd and 3rd pool.

It's known as secret waterfall. Located in ballaketuwa. 2 to 3 km faraway from Ella town. Very cold water, better place to take bath.

There are few water falls as the hike starts facing the main road, but the beauty at the top is a MUST to visit!

There is a small pol rottie shop, and please try them out after a dip!
