Eastern University one of the state Universities in Sri Lanka. It is an ICON in Eastern province which have produced number of talented young graduates who contributes to the development of the country.

This photo shows the Senate building of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka. But the marker pointed the old library building of the same university. Some reviewers has mentioned this is faculty of health care sciences. But it is wrong. The faculty of Health-care sciences at Batticaloa town which is around 17km from this place.

It's also known as Vantharumoolai Campus .
4 Faculties(Science ,Agriculture ,Arts, and Commerce & management) Main Administration Block,IT center ,Sports complex, Sports Grounds, 4 Faculties Library, Faculties Student's hostels and Faculties Staff quarters are located here.
