Yala, National Park is a great place to enjoy your time in nature. I spotted so many wild animals. Our guide was also very nice . I was slightly disappointed since I didn’t spot the leopard, but I totally understand that we cannot Control mother nature, so overall it was a nice experience to go for a wildlife Safari

Even if we didn't see leopards, we were lucky and saw many other animals, birds, butterflies. I was on tour for 4 hours in the morning. A special experience in a beautiful natural park

The less crowded entrance. Get there as early as possible! We had a great stay at Kele Resort the night before and they organised the Jeep tour for us.

Exceptional Yala Safari experience by Makini bush camp and the all inclusive glamping stay with them was the highlight of our vacation in Sri Lanka. We saw many wild animals including Sri Lankan elephants, 🐆 several leopards, Sri Lankan sloth bear, crocodiles, and many beautiful birds! Our safari driver took paths that most didn't take giving us the rare opportunity of spotting so much wildlife.

The main benefit of entering from Katagamuwa is that the distance to the Talgasmankada-Meda Para area, which is a more popular area for leopards, is significantly shorter. The traffic on the Palatupana side can be avoided. Given that Talgasmankada and Meda Para are closer to the Katagamuwa entrance, one can depart much later, increasing the likelihood of seeing a leopard.

I have been here twice this year, two days each time. We saw leopards on two days. The other two days we saw elephant, deer, crocodile, monkeys, boar, peacocks and many other birds.

Beautiful landscape and animals. However if you go to safari you might be disappointed as most of the gif turn it into a chasing of the tiger but you might see just a little of it if you're lucky

Yala has the highest density of leopards anywhere in the world. So you get a good chance of seeing a leopard out in the wild.

The main advantage of entry from the Katagamuwa is much shorter to the Talgasmankada-Meda Para area which is more popular area for leopards. You can skip the Palatupana side traffic. As the Katagamuwa entrance is closer to Talgasmankada and Meda Para, one can leave much later improving the chances of a leopard sighting.

Had a wonderful time with our guides from kulu safari at yala national park. The park zone is quite large and it's open for a good part of the day. Saw so many beautiful animals including leopards, elephants, and a very wide variety of birds.
