Polgampola Waterfall is a beautiful spot for a refreshing bath. The village, too, is picturesque to explore. Locals from village suggest the falls are about 20 ft deep, so be careful if you're not a swimmer. Parking slots are available before the entrance, and it's a 300-meter walk. Check out my travel video on YouTube - you can find me at Ahmed Riffky.

What a beautiful little spot so tranquil and pure bliss. The fishes come to have a nibble on your feet; the pool is so refreshing and inviting, and the King Fisher came to say hello. Great place to visit.

Very beautiful place !!! Highly recommended.
There are lot of safe areas to bath but better if you can avoid main pool of the falls. Need to walk some distance to reach the waterfall. Water Force might be harder during rainy days , So make sure to get some advice from area people. Vehicle parking is available

Just amazing place really amazing. It’s small waterfall but a very cool place with a natural beauty. Water are fresh, clean and nice. This place is often crowded on weekends. Non crowded days are really enjoyable. I recommend this place only when can swim. Famous among the boys as a place to have a drink. But they are destroying that place with smashed bottles, polythene, etc. Easy to access from main road and can go there by any vehicles. The car parking facilities have been given to near homeowners. Visit there, have fun but please don’t ruin the place and be careful.

Thabadola Ella is a natural waterfall with a natural water pool located in the Kalutara District. Another name for the same waterfall is Rideevita Ella. Just a lovely area in Colombo, with a modest waterfall of only 3 meters in height yet a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere surrounded by natural beauty. The water is pure and fresh. It is a tropical rainforest ecosystem with fresh water. There are some breathtaking views. In and around the fall, a diverse range of naturally existing flora, as well as indigenous fish and birds.

The base pool is very deep..be cautious and have fun.should reach the waterfall walking through a mini jungle which is covered with pinus like trees. Situated in a very rural area called polgampola. A mini shop is there which is maintained by the people who owns the polwatta parking area. Very trustful people they are.
