Hotel was very clean and rooms are very beautiful & also comfort is on its top.
Food were good.
Specially the hotel staffs were very friendly. Helping us till we checkout. Served us the food and including Tea to our room door.

Never made us tired or fedup on their service.

Special thanks for Hotel Manager who kept welcoming us. Gave his best to keep his staff service best. We wanted food at late night. He prepared food for us for our requirement which was not in the menu card. He gave us the best hospitality... He never rushed to get the money from us. He always served the best service. Highly Recommended..

We just stayed here for three nights and it’s was so good we extended our stay. The rooms are lovely, the staff are amazing and the food is delicious. Although the exterior of the main building is slightly run down in comparison to the pictures. The rooms and balcony area are really clean and well kept. Staff couldn’t have done more to help us and there breakfast were incredible. You should definitely book here!

Very nice place. The Manager (Hasitha) was very friendly and gave the best service also I should mention about the Karunathilake. For his age he was very active and fulfilled all our needs. Food can be improved. This place is very safe for family. It also has a very clean pool.

The place was lovely..from inside looks. The rooms are clean and calm. Close to a nice beach with clear waters. Pool is also good for a drink. Food is so tasty. We loved staying. Manager Hasitha is really good. Room boy and the lady who served us was really friendly. Provided everything we needed. You alwayscan customize your stay although you booked from a booking website.

I was there in last weekend with my friends. The place was very good. Breakfast was very good and staff treated well and friendly. The room we booked was not good so we informed them then they gave another place for the same price. I appriciate it. Rooms, Swimming pool and place was clean and very good. The package was very cheap compare to other places. Highly recommended..

Good budget hotel. Have enough parking space. Food is good. Swimming pool is fair. Not much good or bad. Deep is around 5.5ft. Rooms are clean. Washrooms are spacious and clean. Room is bit darker at night. But its ok. A/C rooms are good enough comparing to other budget hotels. Can easily access from colombo - galle main road

Gem of a find! And that's saying something, since Sri Lanka has an abundance of gems. Speaking of which - this place is quite close to a moonstone mine. Also close to a turtle hatchery and some nice beaches. Travelling is easy since this place is right next to a bus stop.
Moving on to the accommodation. We had a sea view room, a lovely, cosy one, clean as it gets. Nice large comfy beds, and fantastic washroom with one of those really relaxing showers with horizontal sprays. Waking up to a lovely sunny day outside with the ocean gushing about, and a hot cup of fine Ceylon tea waiting outside the room, that's sheer perfection.
Now, food. It's excellent here. The quantity is a lot as well. The folks I was travelling with are - to put it politely - gluttons, and even they could not finish the food sometimes. Definitely, definitely try the lobster (inform them in advance so they can get a good catch). Their juices are fresh, salads are succulent. This is also one of the rare places here that can boast about quality veg food.
Regarding facilities, it has all the standard ones, including a nice pool, transport services, and lots of other stuff on demand. Make sure you communicate it to the staff, and they'll probably make the arrangements. The virtue of being a relatively small place is that you have better interactions, and more flexibility when it comes to your stay.
The staff...well, they were extremely caring. More than polite and friendly and hospitable etc (which you expect the staff to be anyway), the folks were genuinely warm and caring, and did their best to make sure we had a fun, comfortable, safe trip. They helped us a lot with our itinerary, even going over and beyond their duties to help us plan the remainder of our trip. During our stay they communicated with us really well, and particularly made sure that we ate well (I guess they figured out we were foodies). There was almost a maternal touch to the way they fed us.
Overall, we had a great experience at Deutsch Lanka, a sweet tropical chill spot a stone's throw away from Hikkaduwa.

Glad we found this place at Godagamma. It's close to everything interesting in the region - the moonstone quarry, the turtle hatchery, tsunami museum and the beach! Take a bus to Galle, or Bentota beach, mangrove boat trip on the Madu river and more!

The hotel comes with an awesome view of the sea and your wake up to the sounds of the waves. The pool is fun as well. The people are amazing and their hospitality is no less than a 5-star experience. The food is amazing, they have delicious lobsters too! Just be careful as they serve quite generous portions of the dishes.

It was such a lovely place to spend the vacation. Place was very clean and the rate was reasonable. The manager Mr. Hasitha was so flexible on our requirements and provided a quality service. A person called "Kalu Uncle " was also so friendly and always made sure that they serves the best. Highly recommended

This is a good budget hotel around hikkaduwa with good air conditioned rooms, swimming pool, hot water.
Staff also very friendly and give good service.Close to Hikkauwa beach.Swimming pool is also clean and well maintained .Enjoy this place and hope to vist again.

Cozy room and beautiful view, couldnt go in the sea as the beach opposite is all rocks, that was the only downside but walking a bit, 5min towards Galle there is sandy beach
