We came to eagles crest for a beautiful stay Iit is a beautiful place with a lot of nature and for people who care of the envoirment. Ideal for a secluded vacation or a yoga retreat. It's so quiet I can spend quality time peace and tranquility. The morning yoga sessions were amazing with the views around a truly surreal place. Recommend for anyone who would like to go on a self soothing retreat

We were at eagles crest to celebrate our honeymoon and I must say the location was just breathtaking. Accomadation was very clean and kept in very good condition. Kusum and Sirisena did a very good job taking care of us and the food was divine. 10/10 would recommend!

The new management name is 'The Windy Sarong'.
Great place to enjoy cool climate & relaxation.

Road from Hunnasgiriya Town is the best to reach there. Recently re done good road. Can go in a car with average ground clearance.

They got the best maintained, biggest Garden out of all bungalows in the area.
Great atmosphere with surrounding Mountains on one side, valley on another, garden with trees & small area with tea plantation too.

In mornings & evenings can see a shy but frequent visitor to the garden, a small deer known as Barking deer, and if lucky, a wild rabbit or two.
The Bungalow is very cozy, suited for two or three families to spend time together.
The big garden is good for any outdoor activity.. Cricket, Frisby, kids to to run around..

6km further up is coberts gap, which is very windy. Also there's a nice water stream with a small waterfall just 500m down the road. Also when coming down about 5 km towards Hunnasgiriya, there is a Mini World's end (Deanston) , just a half an hour walk to the left from main road.

Phone signal strength is poor & almost no Internet singal. Its ideal for complete isolation & enjoyment.

Cook & care taker doesn't talk that much, but are a very good couple, can request any dish, does cook nice meals & make tea, coffee etc too.
Have to take stuff for cooking. Call the owner & get his advices, he explains everything very well.

If someone wishes to go to Meemure from here, better leave your vehicle here & hire a suited vehicle for rugged & narrow road found near Meemure.

One night stay is not adequate to fully enjoy the beautiful environment. Two nights or more is recommended.

One of the most picturesque places i have ever been into.. The bunglow is bit old but the service they provide is wonderful. Caretaker is there and you need to bring all the essentials to prep meals. Recommended for anyone

A beautiful location with a large garden. It really gives a breath taking sun rise. The care taker is corporative and food was good. We need to take the supplier when we go, but we really enjoyed the over night stay in this cosy bungalow. If looked into details the location has a better opportunity to be upgraded.
