Nice location adjoining to the main road and close proximity to all important locations. The staff was cordial and helpful. The meals provided were reasonable and valued for money.

Had an amazing stay here. The staff was friendly specially the house keeping was really nice and super friendly! Housekeeping officer mr anil and hotel manager have taken care our needful personally. Food were amazing and buffet was awesome. There is a nice pool with fresh water.
Loved my experience here.

Well worth of price. Next to main road. Food is testy but limited options due to lack of people.

We had a great day in this place for a cheaper price. Actually we selected a dayout package and we got the welcome drink at first, then the lunch with its desert , soup and later a cup of milk tea with sandwiches in the evening. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The pool was well maintained and was allowed to use until the package gets over. So I highly recommend this place for a dayout or holiday fun.

We stayed 4 days in Hotel Mahanuge. The service provided by all was brilliant. They were really kind and helpful. The food was really delicious and had lots of varieties too. They were kind enough to prepare separate meals for kids. The room was tidy and clean.
Swimming pool was large, nice & clean. Comparatively accommodation & food were cheaper. Hope to stay again when we visit Sri Lanka again.

Highly Recommended...!!! Nice hotel to stay in Polonnaruwa. I stayed one night. Hotel staff very friendly and they treated me very well. Rooms are clean , Foods very delicious , Calm place to stay with your loving ones.

Great experience, unlike other places we have been in Sri Lanka. Beautiful place. my children loved the pool. Food is very good & worthy for the price. We got a superb set menu. The restaurant manager & hotel manager both are very helpful. The room has all facilities they mention. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

One truly beautiful place to stay. The rooms are plush, cosy and welcoming. The lawn is a treat to behold. Covered with old trees and well moved grass, the entire place eludes a sense of serenity throughout. We preferred to have indian food and that too tasted good. The service was downright incredible.

Good place to have lunch if you visit Pollonaruwa ruins. Place is very closed to the ruins. The restaurant is air conditioned and parking is also available. Toilet facilities are good. They serve a buffet and price is RS 800/- per person. Food tastes ok.

Absolutely great and welcoming hotel. We were staying in different hotel near lake but here we went one day for lunch buffet which was so tasty and we pay 850lkr pp. Vegan friendly. And another day we came for swimming pool and dinner. First we went for swimming pool in Sudu Araliya but we stay there like 5 minutes because everyone was staring at us. So we went here and they was so welcoming. They even made me food which wasn't on menu. I truly recommend this hotel.

From the security (also the parking assistant) to the waiter is so polite. They've been properly trained to ask certain questions to make sure that you're having a good time. Food was great. As a Sri Lankan, I'd highly recommend this for any foreigner who wants to taste Sri Lankan food. Not so spicy, not too salty. Everything is properly balanced. And the waiters are nice enough to let you know what to chose if you don't know what to chose.

They've a decent buffet. Not the greatest! But the best in this area I assume.
Really nice place if you are traveling with kids. Lot of open spaces and a swimming pool which goes from 3.5' to 5.5'.
Most of the area is covered with trees. So, no need to worry about hot days. You can chill outside in the breezy wind.
AC works, ceiling fans are there if you're a fan, Hot water is there, rooms are clean. Hygene kits are there; so no need to worry if you forget something small like a toothbrush or a towel or even your shaving stuff. Multi-socket wall output is there to charge your stuff. No mosquitoes to speak of. Mattress is a little on the hard side, but is very comfortable and snuggy.
There's a room with 5 separate beds if you'd need such thing with same facilities mentioned above.
They've a open hall area as well, not quite sure what could be done there. And there are benches under the tree shades for you to chill.
There are things to improve, but, this place is really nice overall as it is now. 2018 Jun 06

Their food is excellent. For just 800LKR (4.4USD) you get decent starters a good range of main course and great deserts. main course had chicken and pork and fish and a good collection of local dishes. Few varieties of deserts like Pudding, ice cream and fresh cut fruits were the ones I had.

The restaurant is air conditioned and you can pay with your credit cards as well(Visa,Union Pay). Have a bigger parking space right in front. Good price for the meal and certainly visit again if I pass Polonnaruwa.

Great place to grab a private and quick bite. Ambience is very nice, food is great, and the staff is immensely polite and attentive. Definitely will visit again.
