Uda Maliboda trail starting point

This is the starting point of Uda Maliboda Sri Padha footpath. Distance stated as 9km but there might be a slight difference of actual distance. Be ready to face to leech attacks especially if it is rainy and you have to cross several streams during the trek. The footpath is in the middle of Peak Wildness Sanctuary and sometimes you will be able to observe elephant footprints and dung during the trek. The footpath joins with the Erathna - Galwangediya - Sri Padha footpath at Medahinna.

This is the starting point of the Uda Maliboda - Sri Padha trail. You have to walk around 9km to join Erathna trail near “Indikatupana” from hear. This trail doesn’t have any facilities like other trails so prepare for this. It’s better to avoid this on rainy seasons because you have to cross several streams.

Nice place for trekking & hiking

Trail head to Erathne route arround 6KM. There is a steep ascend at the end. Very beautiful & cool environment. Be well perpared. Leach replicant is must.

It's an into the woods approach starting from here. Take the blessings from God and cross the stream to head towards the right bank where the trail starts.
Begin your journey early as possible.
It's a bit long journey until you meet the Kuruwita-Eratna footpath nearby Medahinna Ambalama.

This is the path of paradise. Need to cross the streams and water fall.this path is wet in the season therefore you ready for leech attack 😉. We could see the elephant foot print. This is a beautiful path in all.
