Songhae Park

Beautiful place, especially during spring. We can see a lot of tulips with the background of the lake, windmill, and korean traditional building

I often visited Songhae Park, but this time I went around the trail (Dulle-gil). There are many things to see, including suspension bridges, Geumdong Cave, artificial waterfalls, Songhae Exhibition Hall and a coffee shop. It was the best day to spend a day at the park.

Favorite park! It's beautiful and great for the entire family. The water, the trails, the bridges, the rocks with music, waterfalls.. just perfect. There are food vendors as well, bathrooms at the beginning and end where parking is. Temple on one end. Fields to play soccer. There was even someone having a concert near the water. We brought snacks, there are stairs, so not super stroller friendly. Have fun!

It's a nice park to spend with family

It has a very refreshing vibe with a walking track on the lack surrounded by green mountains. Also cozy cafés, mountain track and the whole place is decorated with many attractions like a giant Water turbine.

This was a beautiful park with a walking trail around the lake. Many things to see and photo spots along the way. It's surrounded by mountains, which gives it a unique and pleasant feel. Recommended if you're in the area!

A bit of a hidden gem. It is worth visiting this area soon before it becomes over-developed and loses its charm. It is a nice place for a walk and has lots of little attractions to keep you interested and forms a pleasant loop. There are two parking areas, but I would recommend the lower parking area below the dam, as it has lots more overflow.

I firmly recommend walking along the roadside path next to the reservoir, as there is an awesome multi-storey coffee shop in the middle (it also has limited parking) which has fantastic views of the reservoir and surrounding area.

Songhae Park(Daegu) is one of the famous tourist attractions in the city. It’s known for its windmill, beautiful bridge, walking trails, heart tunnel, Baeske bridge, Boguksa Temple and waterfall.
It is decorated with lights, flowers, and a big statue of the man “Songhae” the park was named after.

One of the best places you could enjoy the weekend with your family. Nice view. Clean and fresh air. Nice get away place from hot sunny city areas during summer.

Great place for a walk. Opens 24/7. Fresh air n perfect atmospheres. Must visit. Place to honor Songhae who is Korean loveable grandpa(tv show representer).

Korean popular and respectable announcer, Mr. Sonhae's park. He is a leader and announcer of National song festival on Sundays in Korea.
Surprisingly, he's over 90 years old. Nevertheless, he goes whole country for broadcasting, sometimes even goes abroad. I think his fame and his warm-hearted progressing are the reasons why his program lasts long.
I've heard that Dalseong is his wife's old hometown. We can take a walk along the riverside to reach 100years pavillion. The pavilion implies that may all visiting this place live 100 year's longevity and be healthy.

Is a nice hiking place with beautiful views

Nice location for a walk. You can choose to walk around the lake or in the forest. Quite calm area.
