AK Plaza Pyeongtaek Branch

Lots of great stores with a few limited deals, but worth checking out should you be in the area.

The environmental bubbles in the roof garden were a treat.

Really easy to get to by train! The CGV movie theater is good and they offer food and drinks. The rooftop garden offers a great view of the surrounding area and is a nice place to relax and enjoy the weather. There are multiple places to get food and plenty of shopping for everyone.

This place was awesome. I spent a year teaching English in Korea and one of my favorite things to do was to visit this place. It always brings back great memories thinking about it. Be careful though because the red light district is right next to this place and some seedy things can happen. Overall though Korea is a very safe so I wouldn't worry about thing. It's enough to give it five stars.

Plaza is busling with many people more non Koreans here then any other place. However lots of church people passi g out flyers to their churches. Lots of fake hurt and homeless beggers. I have seen them move themselves to the trees and after trending to be paralyzed pull themselves up and walk and carrying their crutches home. Box full of cash. They got fake religions here many claiming to be Jesus and God. Don't give in and give them money. There is a Starbucks inside very small great for Santa's elves. There is a Krispy cream here too and a artbox store.

AK Plaza is the location of Pyeongtaek's train station. The station itself is a major transportation hub that supports trains to Seoul, Busan and Mokpo as well as the 1 line that stops at all the major connecting stations. The shopping mall, AK Plaza has numerous stores and eateries that will keep anyone occpied for the entire day. The very top of AK, and in my opinion the best attraction, is the sky garden which offers beautiful views of downtown Pyeongtaek.

My family Love Love Love this mall. There is lots to see and do. We especially love the play area on the rooftop . Our boys love the race car track.

Very nice and clean shopping center

Favorite place to go because they have all these yummy food in their food place in the basement (b1) for just a few bucks. They also have a kids play place on the 10th floor and a deck with a nice view of the city & of course the subway station that is very convenient if you want to explore the other cities.

When I was stationed at Humphreys, I would taxi out weekly for a movie and just to get away and venture off. It is a quick and small trip from the base. Circa 2009-2011

I love the food area on the first floor plus the small grocery store in the back then the restaurants on the 9th floor. It's got a little bit of everything.

Shopping is great! and easy access to public transportation. Parking is way down below the under pass. If you follow the blue "public parking" signs that are on the same side as AK Plaza, you will be parking in a Red Light District. Expect to see some "things" and avoid parking here with kids. You may not be ready for that conversation.

Main station for Pyeongtaek, coffee shops, department stores, and restaurants in the lower floor. Came here almost 3-4 times a week to go anywhere. (Use the #20 bus from Camp Humphrey's)

Large shopping area. Major transit hub so it’s easy to reach. There is a lot of shops outside the plaza as well and if you explore the area you’ll find a lot of variety. It is always busy! But very very clean. Rest rooms are available in the plaza and they’re kept very clean. For English speakers, everything is accesible and easy to understand. Handicap lifts/ elevators are available.

This mall is a little bit more on the expensive side. But I just love how they organize everything by designer and style instead of by type. And the sushi bar downstairs is amazing!

Great place to go with the family alone. Has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, and a movie theater. Perfect for a weekend fun spot. Also near other good restaurants and cafes outside the station too.

This location has a lot of a lot of things to view. Movie theater, department store, and train station with lots of little shops inside.

Convenient location since it's right off the subway station and train station. Decent choice of food. Shopping is more pricey as it's almost all high end stores.
