Sinan Purple Island

It’s really nice and unique. Unfortunately, it was freezing cold (very windy and cloudy) when we went so we didn’t really enjoy it that much. There’s a 5,000 won entrance fee.

A must-visit-place if you are in Sinan (and Mokpo also). It will be very convenient if you come here by car, if not it will take almost a day to get here, discover the surrounding area and back. This purple island is actually connected by 3 places (반월도, 박지도 and 안좌면). Entrance fee is 5.000 won, I just walked around the outside and it took me almost 2 hours, some people do the hiking inside those islands and it will take up to 4 hours (depends on how much time do you have), some people just have a quick look then leave as well.
If you come here by public transportation from Mokpo, I recommend that taking bus number 2004, then take a taxi to here. Then on the way back, you can take bus (they have bus station right in front of this purple island but just 8 buses a day) to 남강버스환승터미널 then taking bus number 1004 or 2004 back to Mokpo to save time.

TIPS ON HOW TO GET HERE (CAO 11/25/23):
- Mokpo Bus Terminal to Purple Island: Go to Gate 1, take bus 2004 (schedule posted outside the door, ETA also shown on TV monitor outside the door). PAY IN BUS: 3000 KRW (cash/t-money).
- To Purple Bride: Get off bus 2004 at Namgang (it's a port/harbor), hop on to the small purple bus (schedule posted on the door of the port waiting area), this purple bus will go all over Purple Island and end in Purple Bridge. PAY IN BUS: 1000 KRW (cash/t-money).

Very pretty Island! Prepare for a long walk.

There are two small islands Banwol (반월도) and Bakji (박지도) conected by purple bridges with another island Anjwa (안좌도). Banwol isconsidered the Purple Island and, as you can imagine, everything is painted in purple. It's a nice place for relaxation and long walks.

암태도를 지나 1004대교 통과,
생각보다 접근 시간이 많이 걸립니다.
안좌도와 박지도를 다리로 연결하여
섬 전체가 보라색 주제로 잘 정돈되어 있습니다.
입장료가 5000원인데 보라색 옷을 입으면 면제되니 사전에 구매해서 가는 것 권장합니다.
저는 보라색 우산을 미리 구입해서 갔더니 무료 입장 되었습니다.
입구에 보랏빛 물건을 파는 상점도 있으니 그 때 구입해도 됩니다.
바람이 심한 곳이어서 모자를 날릴 경우가 많으므로 스카프 등으로 잘 묶어야 합니다.

나오는 길에
안좌도에서 [김환기 고택]을 만날 수 있습니다. 제가 방문했던 때는 고택은 수리 중이어서 표지석만 사진에 담아왔습니다.

섬마다 연결해주는 다리라 마을전체가 색깔있는 잼있는 곳이다 조용한 곳을 원하시면 방문할 곳이다

깨끗하고 아름답고 멋진 바다와 퍼플펜션이 오래 오래 기억에 나을것 같아요~~~

퍼플교 생각보다 먼거리. 다돌면 2km정도 되요. 섬 일주도로는 너무 길어서 전동카트 이용하면 됩니다.

편안하게 걷고 드넓은 갯펄을 구경하고 전기차 손수 운전해서 해안을돌아 볼수 있는게 잠깐이나마 즐거움을 선사 해주었어요

새우축제 시작전에 다녀왔네요. 퍼플섬 가기전에 팔금 수산 대하 최고.. 가게 깨끗하고 사장님 엄청 친절하세요^^

온통 보라색인 신안의 대표 명소로 박지도 반월도를 잇는 퍼플교가 있으며, 밤에는 조명을 설지해 또다른 분위기를 느낄 수 있는곳으로 보라색 옷.모자,우신등을 착용하면 무로 입장 가능 합니다

너무나도 아름다운 경치의 퍼플섬 가는길 오는길 모두가 옛 시골길 그리운 모습 이였어요
