Jeongseon Arirang Traditional Market

One of the most well-known traditional local markets in Korea, which opens evey five- day.
A variety of wild greens are available.

They're open every 5 days but even then they still operate on a smaller scale. They have a lot of herbs gathered from the area, and their very famous mushrooms. Their ginger jeolpyeon(jellies) is so good and spicy.

Hi I'm a local here here Jeongseon Arirang market is one of the greatest places to visit in Jeongseon. It is a(n) landmark in Jeongseon famous for its long history. I think the admission fee is free. It takes about 0 wons. When it comes to reservation, you don't have to make a reservation in advance. I recommend this place especially for families.To go to Jeongseon Arirang Market it is better to use a bus then use a taxi If you use a bus it takes 1hour 46 minutes from Gohan staion Aiso it takes abut 5100 wons for the serviceThe nearby restaurant you can go is Hoi Dong Jip.It is Korean traditional restaurant. In this restaurant you can try Tadpole noodle,Rice with thistle and Assorted pancake.I recommend Tadpole noodles.It's tasty and a little bit spicy.It takes around 5000wons for 1 serving.It's walkable from Jeongseon Arirang Market.
If I were you, I would go to Jeongseon Arirang market in April, because you can best enjoy Jeongseon Arirang market in spring. The weather in April is beautiful. It's mild and humid, but there can be a severe fine dust.

If you are traveling Gangwon-do, here you can see some traditional Korean local market. Selling local vegetables and food. It's enjoyable place.

Lovely traditional market with some great noodles. Lots of ginseng. Close to rail biking.

Marvelous show. World Class. Technologies with art, dance , songs, percussion show with very very precicion.
