88 Grilled fish shop

Must visit! We would have never been comfortable enough to have gone into a place like this without our tour guide. It was hidden and the shop owner came out and walked us into the restaurant. When we walked in, there were servers in there that spoke fluent English and all our worries were left at the door. We sat and told our server how many of us there were. She then proceeded to tell us there was no menu for this place, it was a set menu and they will bring out enough food for us. Out comes a platter of fresh seafood that was probably caught hours ago. We didn't even have to cook the food. They brought out fresh charcoal and our server would come by and cook the fish for us. Easily some of the freshest fish I have ever had! You can really taste the charcoal which added so much flavor to the fish. We had easily 10+ different fish to try and each one blew our taste buds away. We left full and satisfied

Food was really good... you don't often get to eat bbq fish. All the fish were tender and flavorful. You just sit there and the waitress will come place the fish, grill and cut off the burnt sections for you so you just wait and eat. Their kimchee was perfect, pickled peppers were crunchy and flavorful, and service was super quick. Only thing that's slow is the time you wait for your fish to get cooked. We waited in line on an old alleyway and the store's exterior and interior is not maintained, but either way, atmosphere didn't really bother me because the food was good.

It's was great! With just 14k won per pax, we had a great dinner there! Staff were prompt in grilling the fishes and u love the dish dishes too. It was really value for money!

It is a local fish spot right on the water. They have expanded the space to accommodate the long lines. Friendly, efficient service with the fish cooked right in front of you. Lunch or dinner this is the place to enjoy delicious grilled fish.

This restaurant is located along a narrow road in front of where the fishermen dock their boats and unload their catches. Walking along this road, you can see many restaurants drying or preparing fish. We ordered the mixed platter dish which came with about six different types of dish and they grill it for you at your table. All of the fish were delicious and tasted fresh. Perfect for a morning meal with a side of hot stew, lunch or dinner. Highly recommend for the quality of food and service.

Loved the grilled fish. Parking on a Friday night was a bit tough. Lucky to find a spot.

Delicious fish and amazing fast service with ladies precutting and arranging the food for you - you just need to sit and enjoy how fast and interesting they prepare fish (I don’t understand earlier complains about this - of course it’s nice when someone does the “dirty” job of preparing the fish for you, I wouldn’t know where and how to cut it myself, remove insides etc., without this kind guidance). It also didn’t fill like a tourist trap, maybe this depends on time of visit, but we were around 19.45 and surrounded only by locals. It seems they are closing around 20:20 not 21:00 as Google says. If you are late like us, you can finish the fish in 25-30 min :)

Grilled fish shop is a restaurant, which offers one dish... various grilled fishes :) The fishes were fresh and very tasty, the price is 30000 won per 2 person. It is worth this price.

Fishes are fresh and there is a variety of species to be tasted. Side dishes are of generous portions. Some staff speakers mandarin, English a bit limited.

Fresh fish and squid, grilled right on the table in front of us. It served with vegetables pickles korean style...where kimchi is just one of them.

I would suggest to try do reservation...I've not done that due to language barrier.

So we try to come to this place at 6pm, wait in queue for 15 minutes,but count ourselves lucky to get a table....as at 9pm they closed the door.

Another suggestion is to come in a group of 4 person; same as the table capacity....

This is a restaurant known for grilled fish, in a city full of restaurants serving good grilled fish. It's a table-top style fish grill. Expect a line during meal times. Food is very good. Services adequate.
