This is a village designated for world cultural heritage.
You can see traditional houses of korean style, streets and their living style here.
Very beautiful and peaceful, and you can feel traditional fresh air on walking aroud the village.
You should pay some money for entrance fee but is not expensive, approximately 3 dallars an adult.
If you have a chance to visit Gyeongju, South korea, absolutely you have to go once.

Beautiful, very quiet and peaceful place. The houses are not only perfectly preserved but actually lived in, which adds to the charm. It does mean though that you can't enter inside any of them, which is a bit of a pity (would be great if at least one was open to the public).

I went on a weekday midday and there were only a handful of other tourists, so it's also a great spot if you want to take a break from the crowds.

This place is so incredibly beautiful. You can walk around here for a couple of hours. I recommend being with a tour guide so you know the stories behind the buildings.

This village is korean traditional one with old types of house. So you can see and experience the old korean tradition. You can stay night if you reserve. I was so satisfied staying inthe village as i can remind my memories of younger period.

A little bit far from downtown. So you need to go abt 30~40 minutes to go to the village from downtown. Pls consider it before you go there.

Despite the rain, I found joy in immersing myself in the charming traditional village of Yangdong. The village is filled with ancient buildings and meandering pathways that span the entire region. The slow pace of life here allows you to leisurely stroll along the winding paths and truly experience the unique blend of modern living in old-fashioned homes.

It's an amazing place to visit. I do recommend a little bit of research into the history before going so you can immerse yourself. I had the benefit of going with a tour group. A lot of detail came from the guide and this knowledge made everything way more interesting. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

The most tradicional village I've been in whole Korea! Such peaceful, remote place full of history!
Wonderful to just pass a relaxed afternoon listening to the birds singing while walking around the village

It's a good place for a family trip. Kinda not that accessible for commuting since there is only 2 buses that really goes inside the village, if you want to drop off into a highway you need to walk for more than a kilometer. But transferring to a bus is possible. You can either take a bus from Pohang Bus Terminal or Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal (farther). As for the village, it is like a historical museum and village that offers tours, they have 20 minutes 30 minutes and an hour tour inside the village. There's also a convenience/cofee/souvenir store inside which is good.

Very nice traditional village. I expected a place full of tourist, but we could walk around almost alone. I totally recommend it. Do not expect many places to eat or to buy souvenirs, there are just a couple of them plus some additional around the ticket office.

Unesco's pick! I couldn't see inner living place of some buildings because they really live there. But that point makes more attractive to me. I could feel real life there and they preserve the village. I love it :)

I visited when it was so hot; it was impossible to walk around all over. It was very beautiful though.

Getting to know the history of this country and how people used to live here is a whole new experience. I joined a tour group (KLOOK) and this was one of the destinations. Recommended!

It is a Korean traditional village.
We took a for a walk around village for 3 hours. There was a very cozy place.
We had also opportunity to get a historical story of there from histrical commentator.
I think really good place worth visiting at least once.

Loved it here. Nicely maintained old houses that I felt so relaxed while walking around here. Also tried one of their restaurant at the entrance. It was authentic and the owner was so nice. Definitely going back.
