Incredible experience. So quiet and peaceful. You can stroll in the streets, take pictures and enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery with the mountains. Worth the ride.

Worth visit this place to see a Hanok Village with Bukhansan Mountain as the background.. We rent hanbok from Bukchon Hanok Village then we took Uber (30 minutes ride) to here which cost us KRW15,000 each way..

I visited during the Season between Winter and spring A different vibe outside the busy City of Seoul. Amazing architecture, beautiful hanok houses. Love the scenery and relaxing ambience.

Eunpyeong Hanok Village offers an authentic Korean experience in a tranquil setting, away from the crowds of Bukchon Hanok Village. The village boasts charming cafes with picturesque views, perfect for enjoying a serene atmosphere. It's a peaceful haven where you can truly immerse yourself in traditional Korean culture amidst a less bustling environment.

Don't go on Monday as the café and museum are closed on Monday

It's a bit further away, but more beautiful than Bukcheon Hanok village. Definitely worth a visit

I prefer this place more than Bukchon Hanok Village. The street is wide and not too crowded but not that many hanbok store for tourists renting hanbok. There are some coffee shops inside the village for you to enjoy coffee and the view. If you walk straight up inside, you’ll see a pagoda with beautiful architecture.

The Eungpyeong Hanol Village
Why only Bukchon Hanok Village even though there is Eungpyeong Hanok Village? Eunpyeong is home to a beautiful and less tourist Hanok village.
It’s good to enjoy some quiet time, walks, and there are some great cafes to check out here too as well as walking paths to nearby temples, along with clean streams, and up into the mountain.

The best and the most beautiful Hanok Village in Seoul, away from the crowded city center of Seoul. It is located at the base of Bukhansan mountain range. It is very highly recommended 😎👍The shops are a bit pricey but there are not many food and drink shops around, except touristy prices. If you are on the budget, then utilize "Nice to CU" shop for quick ramen, coffee, wate, and snacks. There is a boardwalk on the east wing on the villag, which is ver, very charming and away from the tourists. Locals use that route. Unlike other Hanok villages in Seoul, this one is nore tranquil, plus you can trek the mountains and visit few temples as well. You will not find a better picturesque scenery as this hanok village!!! It is a must visit.

When people come here to experience famous cafe, I really enjoy the tranquility of the hanok village. Since it was a private residence, kindly not to loud when visiting this place

This village have a real people living then must be cearfull with your voice and then actually this village have a rich people only. Inside have some resturant and some cafe...and then if u walk to deep in village more..will have a big temple. There is beautiful also.
Front of this village have cu mart and atwosome place cafe.

This neighbourhood is so special. It is a modern way to see how traditional Korean houses would fit in a neighborhood of only Korean traditional houses. It is kinda bringing back the old and traditional into the contemporary life of any newly developed town.

It has amazing looks and cafes to meet friends and rest, and there is even a temple called Jingwansa, right behind this place.

I usually recommend visiting here as a 1 afternoon tour in Seoul.

Is a beautiful place to visit. Good food everywhere as well. Make sure to stay quite, whispering as possible because this is a residential area. Let's just enjoy the place without disturbing others.

Visited in Jun 2023. Eunpyeong Hanok Village is a direct one hour ride via Bus#701 from Myeongdong area in downtown Seoul. 1일1잔 cafe is also a must-visit when in the area for the best view of the entire village/community.

It is a very useful place to understand Korean traditional residential houses for the upper class.
There is a temple called Jinkwansa at a short distance from here as well.
