History is a virtue and should never be forgotten. 457 years of history lies at this very place. It is the second largest Buddhist temple shrine in South Korea. This place feels very holy and rich with culture and is visibly shown in the architecture. Please visit this site when you are in Korea.

Beautiful place to visit. Theres these huge wooden statues inside one of the buildings and you can see people praying in some of the rooms which was so nice to see. You will also see some monks wondering about the place. It's defitnely a place for a foreigner to visit to see some traditional places of Korea. It's very peaceful and has a tranquil atmosphere. Theres also a gift shop that has tons of jewelry to choose from.

Peaceful monastery crowded but not if u head to the monasteries in the hill side. Love the food before 12noon. Free by donations.

This temple compound is beautiful! There are a few car parks. The one at the entrance gives you the longest walk along a tree lined path along the river.
