Fumotoya

This was an amazing and really affordable restaurant right near the entrance to the stairs to Yamadera. A great place to fuel up before the big climb. I ordered chicken tempura and cold dipping soba and the quality and taste was top notch. Would love to come back again if I ever end up in the area.

I only used their luggage storage service. It’s 300 yen per luggage, and if you purchase anything from the shop that’s priced >300 yen then they will keep your luggage for free. For me I purchased a cherry soft serve ice cream which was great especially after climbing all the stairs. The staff was so friendly too. So don’t use coin lockers at the station; instead, use Fumotoya’s friendly service.

The best Soba I ve ever tried staff is really kind and can communicate in English! The best place to eat after going up Yamadera!

Walking up almost 1100 steps makes you want to stop and ask your God why do you allow me makes bad decisions in life. It’s a therapeutic exercise and makes one enjoy how much the Japanese love their culture

さくらんぼソフトクリーム¥300

主建築後方是團體用餐。停車場前的一樓是一般散客。意外好吃又量大的一餐呢！soba蕎麥麵好吃！點的這個套餐，很優惠，又好吃。餐後，走到隔壁的特產店買了支霜淇淋🍦。

山寺に行きがけ、こちらの『山形名物　下足天そば』というのぼりが気になり、下山後に立ち寄りました。
お店のお姉さんに電車の時間まであまり時間がない旨を伝えると、とても気持ちよくてきぱき対応してくれました。
下足天そばのかけを注文。思ったよりも早く出していただいたので缶ビールも。
天ぷらがサクサクでお出汁に合ってすごく美味しかったです。お蕎麦もしっかりあってお腹いっぱいになりました。お会計はPayPayで。
山寺にも、このお店にも来て本当に良かったと思いました。

服務真的是一極棒，餐點也都很有特色，用完餐後還可以在附近逛逛，真的很悠閒，特別是這裡的人對台灣人都相當的熱情。

有接待旅行團的商店1樓是賣店2樓是團體用餐的地方蕎麥麵很好吃

山寺に車で来たら絶対立ち寄るべし！
駐車場、料理、店員さんが最高です。
お昼を食べれば駐車料が無料。

38℃の猛暑日に行き帰りのお食事でお世話ななりました。冷房の効いた店内はまさにオアシスのようでした。

ちなみにさくらんぼソフトは、かなり美味しかったです。ぜひ！

山寺駅から徒歩5分くらいで、立石寺の麓にあります。お店の名前はそれが由来なのでしょうか。

食堂とお土産物の販売を併設しています。
ただ自分は他の店で食事も買い物もした後だったので、素通りしようかと思ったときに、ふと目についたのがソフトクリーム。

サクランボとラフランス（洋ナシ）があったので、どちらにしようかと悩んで食べたら、美味しかったので結局もう一方も食べちゃいました＾＾；

そこそこ広い駐車場があり、1000円以上の買い物をした場合に無料になるようです。また観光バスも入れるスペースがありました。

ゲソ天蕎麦、瓶ビール。
汗かいた後のビールは至福です。
サクサク揚げたてのゲソに蕎麦が絶妙にマッチ。
とても美味しい。
蕎麦もボリュームたっぷりです。
山寺登った後だったのでお腹空いていて、注文時に大盛りを頼もうとしたら、店員さんに「並みでも大盛りぐらいの量ありますよ」と教えてもらいました。並みで十分な程、ボリューム満点でした。
また山寺に来た際は立ち寄りたいと思います。

鶏天かけそばを頂きました。天ぷらは衣がサクサクお肉はとても柔らかく美味しく頂きました。もちろんお蕎麦も美味しかったですよ！
