We came in to visit with my wife’s mentor from college and we were happily surprised by this humble pizzeria. Maybe 8-10 seats total, one man working behind the counter, and some light jazz playing in the background.
First off, happy that they have an English menu. Second off, short menu that states specifically “sorry will close if out of pizza dough”. Third, prices are decent for pizza but awesome for quality. The giant wood-fired pizza oven stands out behind the counter. You can watch the owner pound out and stretch the dough for each pizza he makes one at a time. The pizzas are probably 12in each, cut in to 8 pieces, and they are fantastic. Between the three of us we ordered 4 pizzas and could have done a 5th if I didn’t keep at the wine.

We visited this back in Jun 2019! We revisited it today. The pizza’s standard still as good and with as 5years ago! Amazing! The pizza master chef still as friendly as we remembered! We would recommend any one visiting/passing HIGASHIKAWA (東川) to try this outstanding pizzeria!!!!

Best hand-tossed stone-oven gourmet pizza in Hokkaido! We have been regulars for years! The owner insists on using imported ingredients from Italy, especially the cheeses, and pizzas cost an average of 1,200~1,500 yen which is way cheaper than those sold by large pizza chains. The size of the pizza are about a medium and even those with smaller appetites are able to finish a whole pizza.

The pizza is unreal! Probably the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered the Margarita and Quattro Formaggi.

This is the second time. The quality of the dough is good and the pizza has a rich flavor.

このお店のピザは、本当に美味しいです。特に好きなのは、バジルソースのマルゲリータ！風味が良く、チーズもなめらかで美味しいです。
私はピザを食べると胃がもたれやすい体質なのですが、ここのピザを食べて胃もたれを起こした事がありません。
雰囲気もゆったりとできるBGMが流れ素敵です。
また、ご主人がピザの生地を練って窯に入れるところまでを客席から間近で見学できます。

普段は少し遠いんですので関西からのお友達が来たら必ず行きます、どれを食べても美味しいのでたまに店内で食べてお持ち帰りもします

店員の対応は素晴らしく、かなり居心地のいいお店でした。なお店内はめちゃくちゃ広いわけではないので、混んでいると待ち時間が長くなるかもしれません。
注文したら15分以内に出てきます。今回は2枚食べましたが、1枚目を食べ終わるタイミングで2枚目が出てくる非常に素晴らしい対応でした。一度に2枚出てこないので、2枚目も熱々でチーズの伸びを堪能できます。生地についてですが、薄生地でサクサク(空洞が多い)でしたので、見た目は大きく感じますが、小学生高学年であればペロリと平らげる大きさです。

久々に、行きました。コロナ対策もされていて、向かい合わせにはならないように、すわります。
焼き立てのピザは格別美味しい。何を頼んでも美味しい

しっかりしたピザ釜があり
店主のこだわりと技術が詰まったピザは絶品！
