Daisetsuzan Gensui Park

Amazing cool refreshing water.
Nearby villagers will collect carboys of water for their own consumption.
We joined in the fun drinking direct and taking some home.

There are good spring water. You can get fresh water from Daisetsu mountain. I paid 100 yen as a donation.

Best spring water and service amongst all that I've visited in Hokkaido.
There is a clean restroom and a beautiful, easily walkable 5-10mins trail to a mystical small fall. There are plenty of trolleys to allow locals to transport huge amounts of water to their cars with attendants to assist you!
Really thoughtful and wonderful park. I donated as a token of appreciation for the thoughtfulness of the park and its management.
I visited on a weekday and there were few cars who brought many huge bottles of containers to fill up.

Came past in winter during a van camping trip to Hokkaido, thinking the toilets would be open. They’re closed during winter. However if you’re also van camping, there’s fresh spring water, just make sure to give a 100¥ donation

I realize water is important for us.
I decide to move from Tokyo because of this water.
We get this water 24hours.

Experiencing the beauty of Hokkaido’s snowy landscape at Asahidake Genki Onsen Park was truly magical! The serene hot springs, surrounded by stunning mountains, provided the perfect escape. The crystal-clear waters and relaxing atmosphere left us in awe. A must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. Highly recommended!

Very cool stream boardwalk that takes you to a small waterfall.

Beautiful nature, when I was there it was covered in snow, added a serene beauty to it.

Cold fresh water

東川町の旭岳源水公園です。
半年に１度ほど汲みに行きます。

こちらの水は雑味がなく甘味も少ないのですが、それだけに硬く鋭利な味わいがします。
「水の味とは本来こう言うものだったのか」
と、何度飲んでも驚かされます。

極々微かに、遥か遠〜〜くで珪藻土の香りと鉄の風味がない事もない。と、そんな程度でしょうか。
「混じり気のない」を突き詰めたら、それが旭岳の水となります。

さてさて、こちらで水をいただくには、車１台につき３００円以上の協力金が必要です。
湧水の管理維持が、その主な目的です。

これはどこの湧水場所(公共の場所)にも言える事ですが、
マナーとは他人から押し付けられるものではありません。
自らの規範に照らし合わせて行うものです。
なので他者の目に映るその姿こそが、あなたの規範そのものとなります。

万物の霊長として、旭岳の雄大さと湧水の清らかさに恥じない振る舞いをしましょう。

毎月一回汲みに来てます、
夏場は管理のおじさんがいてトイレ含め綺麗に管理された場所になってます、
冬場は誰も居ないので熊が怖いです、
水はなめらかで飲みやすいです、この水で作ったコーヒーは美味しいとコーヒー好きが言ってます。

12月に積雪の中でしたが、アクセスする道は除雪してあったので問題なくたどり着けました。
気温がマイナスの厳寒の中、湧水は少しだけ温かく感じました。おいしくて、空のペットボトルを持参すればと後悔しましたが、あの雰囲気の中で飲むからこそのおいしさだったのかもしれません。

近くにコンビニ等はないので、トイレが使えるのは有難い。複数の管理人（おじいちゃん）が常駐しているので、水源は勿論、トイレがいつ来てもキレイに維持されている。協力金300円は任意だが、末長く利用する為にも最低でも100円ぐらいは払っておいて良いだろう。

家族が水汲んできたことはあっても、自分で行ったのは初めて。
柔くてほぼ無味無臭で飲みやすい水。
写真で写ってない右側にももう1箇所水汲める場所があって、そこでは老夫婦が4リッタータンク（酒のペットボトル）を50本以上並べて組んでいた。どっかの飲食店かな。
川の方では釣りしてる人が居た。

大雪山旭岳の雪融け水が天然に濾過されて湧き出ている。
３箇所の岩からそれぞれ３本ずつ有るパイプから豪快に湧き出ていて、ポリタンクを沢山持って汲みに来ている人も。
手押し台車が何台か用意されているので、それを使って自分の車まで運べる。
車一台あたり、三百円以上の協力金を入れる箱が設置されています。

下、カッパ長靴必須。勢い良いのでビシャ濡れになります。
手も冷たいので、軍手の上にゴム手履くと最強。上下カッパなら尚良い。
