Lots of amazing teas, and green tea ice cream. Free tastings as well! Can’t beat that.

All the teas in this shop are made by this one single company, and they are all grown locally. So it’s all single origin tea. The shop had many types of tea. Sencha, Genmaicha, Matcha (and another powdered green tea), Fukamushicha, Kukicha, Bancha, Houjicha, and a couple of flavored teas. Sorry folks, no Gyokuro.

I also picked up a tea incense burner! I had never seen one before, and the smell it leaves in your room has to be one of the best smells ever! If you like tea, you should totally check this shop out. They have a restaurant as well, but I haven’t tried it yet. And they also do some workshops like making your own Houjicha, Hand picking and rolling tea leaves, ect.

They also had English speaking staff that could explain what’s unique about all he different teas. That was super helpful.

お茶の専門店です。訪問するとお勧めのお茶を少し飲ませてくれます。これが美味しい。
お茶も、季節のお茶や紅茶、烏龍茶なんかも販売されてます。ソフトクリームが濃厚なお茶の味でおいしかったです。

鹿児島のお茶と言えば知覧茶と思い込んでいたが、志布志にこんな素晴らしいお茶があったなんて。旅先の出会いは本当に宝。フェリーで買える日の立ち寄り場がまたひとつ増えました

素敵なおみせです。お茶の種類がおおくて何を買うか迷います。色んな予算でお茶のセットもあり、期間限定のお茶もたのしみです。あらびき茶おすすめです。あと、紅茶や烏龍紅茶もおすすめです。

おいしいお茶を頂けます。お茶のソフトクリームは濃くお茶の香りもして、お茶好きの私にぴったりでした。お茶ソフトリピートありです。スティックになったお茶の粉末購入。クッキーやケーキに使っています。

なかなか行くことができませんが、鹿屋方面に行く時には必ず寄ってお茶をまとめ買いしています。
