Fabric Store Shalimar

Shalimar has two buildings with avast assortment of fabrics. One building in the back of the parking lot is only fabric, and the other building close to the road has fabric and craft, zippers, elastic, velcro, small rope, buttons, etc.. Awesome!

The best fabric store on Okinawa. Always has sales on different fabrics. You can even place an order. Be aware that they only allow Credit Cards for ¥3,000 or more yen.

I was so excited to find this place! Easy to get to from Camp Foster, easy parking, tons of embroidery floss (which is what I was hoping to find), and a beautiful fabric selection. If you want to pay using a card, you have to spend at least ¥3,000. Otherwise, bring yen.

Great store with an awesome fabric selection. They have a minimum charge for use of cards, so we had to pay cash. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the minimum, but it was no less than ¥2000.

All kinds of fabrics, they have two buildings, one with just fabric interior and exterior and then one with fabric plus things for sewing, like backing, thread, buttons, zippers and a lot more. They only take yen, so make sure you bring some!

Excellent fabric selection as well as other sewing items. Staff are helpful, and there are lots of Japanese and Okinawan inspired fabrics.

I can't say enough good things about this store. It has two parts, a street side small store and a big back building. They have everything you can think of. Definitely worth visiting.

ある生地を買いに伺いましたが、とても丁寧に接客していただきました。

昔懐かし店内も良いです。そして、店員さんも親切です。色々な生地も豊富で、欲しいものがゲットできちゃう🥰

ここの2階にあるワインなどを売っているお店のフレーバーオリーブオイル（バジルがおススメ）とトマトピューレが酸味、塩味が極めて薄いのにもかかわらず、トマトの風味はしっかりしている。
オリーブオイル、トマトピューレを一度は買ってみてほしい。印象が180度変わる。
