MEGA Don Quijote Ginowan

7 Feb 2024 (Wed) & 10 Feb 2024 (Sat) - Visited this outlet twice - once to buy travel essentials; the other for souvenirs. The shop is big with lotsa selection. There are sports apparel (sometimes discounted), daily essentials, fruits etc.

Personally, I could have spent a few hours shopping here. What's nice is that there is a tax-free service - just needed to spend 5500 JPY would suffice. Needed to make payment at any counter first (mention tax-free) then they will refer you to a specific counter for onward processing.

This store has everything you need! The also carry my favorite ramen and yummy pineapple candy!

The Walmart Super Center, the Okinawa version. Lots of all sorts of things. I came to check car accessories as I could not find anything in other stores. You could spend all day there. Plenty of parking. I did find what I was looking for.

I love this place. Its clean, convenient and has pretty much everything we need! The staff is friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier and the they have in the grocery section is amazing.

An experience you won't forget and will not want to miss while in Okinawa!!! They have everything and then some. Great place to pick up souvenirs and experience the Japanese culture.

Great shop, little bit of everything! Similar to a super Walmart, but smaller. Layout is a bit erratic (no fancy grid pattern). Overall, a fun shopping experience with good prices!

This place has everything. For my American friends, think a Target or Wal-Mart. If you’re new to Japan it can be a little bit of sensory overload.

Mega Don Quijote is a place where you can find all sorts of things you are looking for. They also contain a small grocery section in the back of the store. This place often reminds me of Spencers back in the states. It is full of novelty items as well as the traditional kitchen appliances to furniture for the home. They offer tax free shopping if one is a tourist on vacation.
On the left side of the store you may purchase high end bags and jewelry from top brands from around the world. School supplies and bath items are also available.
I often come here to purchase gifts and snacks to take back to the US or send out as care packages.

Perfect place for shopping. There are many selection items with a good price. The parking lot is large and convenient.

Mega store, more like department store. Good prices and has nice supermarket as well. Some designer labels as well

I go here every Sunday after church with my family. We come to get veggies and restock little things in our pantry. The snacks are good and the food is always prepared amazingly. Customer service is amazing.

Huge store selling everything from cheap everyday stuff, branded stuff to Okinawa souvenirs. Well spaced-out display.

Such a self explanatory store. Everything is exactly where I’d expect to find it and it’s so easy to navigate. It’s my “go-to” store even if I just need one item!

A place to buy everything in one shop

A more distinctly Okinawan shopping experience. This location is one of the larger stores & has plenty of outdoor parking. They sell electronics, souvenirs, pharmaceuticals, clothing, live pets, and groceries. Note of warning ⚠ to parents they also have an 18+ area.

Great place to shop! They carry my favorite cool lotion here. It helps with sweat control. Prices are reasonable. Great location and plenty of ground level and upper level parking. This one is opened until 5am.

Go here for all your shopping needs. Many products are cheaper than the competition. The variety of products is extremely large. The parking lots are very spacious as well. Make sure to purchase the member’s card if you’re a regular.

Love it! Great staff and plenty of goods, all sorts of random assortments you really just have to go inside and explore for yourself. I'm certain you'll find something you like!
