Peaceful and well-maintained campground in the Lake Towada National park. They have cabins, auto camp sites, and free camp sites. Free site is highly recommended because you can be right in front of the lake with beautiful views. It can be busy even during the week so make sure to call ahead to check the availability. I wish the checkout were later than 10am, but other than that, it's a great campground.

Lovely campsite with really nice pitches and cabins, the town before you arrive seemed a bit like a ghost town and I couldn't imagine that nestled in the trees was a lovely warm welcome from the host and a lovely campsite with loads of happy campers. It felt like we had arrived in Portland OR in America. Folk music playing, local IPA ale, lovely designed camp equipment and merch on sale, kayaking, saunas. We met a local brewer and TV presenter on their weekend away and drank lots of his brewed IPA which the campsite sold. It was like being in a lovely area that was truly cherished and cared for, not just a business, but a passion for the owner and campers.

A great place to camp along Lake Towada. Clean facilities, well-maintained roads, and scenic views make this campsite spectacular. The online reservation system is simple to use. A big bonus is the local grilled fish they can provide for grilling! It's very delicious at only 990 yen! I only wish I could have visited a few more times before leaving Aomori. Thanks for the great memories! :)

The cottages are wonderful, very clean and beautiful. They have a small bathroom including a shower with hot water. They also have a small kitchen with a fridge and a single gas burner. There is plenty of sleeping space but most of it requires climbing a ladder so it may not be suitable for some people's needs. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we plan to stay again.

Cleanest campground I've ever seen.! Staff is very friendly and some of them speak English! Towadako is the best lake in Japan and beautiful kayaking.

Super beautiful lakeside camping sites, they also have cabins and RV hook ups. They also have canoe rentals available, showers, bathrooms with western toilets, and grilling area. No fire pits allowed but personal grills are fine. Highly recommend! Bring yen.

A very nice camoing ground complete with facilities. Usage fee is very minimal. Please bring extra coins when taking a bath...shower is timed (albeit very fast) :P

Beautifully located and organised. Look no further if you are planning to camp around this area.

Good WiFi, hot showers, coin laundy and dryers, little shop for bbq equipment and such. Great views.

十和田湖畔沿いの絶景キャンプ場。カヌー・サップ・サウナ等のアクティビティも可能。AC電源サイトとフリーサイトに分かれており目的に沿った最高のキャンプが楽しめます。炊事場・シャワールームもあるので家族キャンプにも最適です。スタッフの方も親切で気配りが素晴らしかったです。

青森に行くなら絶対十和田湖に行ってみたくて友達に連絡して宇樽部キャンプ場の予約をして貰いました！11月上旬に行ったのですが、初めに夏頃連絡した際には十和田湖周辺の道路が11月に入ったら閉鎖になるのでもしかしたらキャンプ場は閉鎖されてるかもしれないとの事でした。でも運良く道路の閉鎖が後ろに伸びたので念願叶ってこちらに行く事ができました！平日という事もあってそれほど人も多くなく、スタッフさんもとても良い人でまた青森に行く際にはこちらに立ち寄りたいなと思いました！1泊2日お世話になりました！ありがとうございました！

【2017年8月利用・2023年1月加筆修正】十和田市営宇樽部キャンプ場です。御倉山のある御倉半島の付け根の東湖に面した湖畔にあります。特に宇樽部から見える御倉山の断崖は、十和田火山の活動の終盤、西暦915年に起きた御倉山先端の大噴火の後に溶岩がせり上がってできた溶岩ドームの一部と言われています。
このキャンプ場から湖畔を見渡すと天気が良ければ湖を囲む外輪山の先に八甲田の山並みまで見通せます。湖畔のキャンプ場と言えば、北海道の支笏湖にある美笛キャンプ場も見晴らしが良いですが、ここもとても良いロケーションのキャンプ場だと思います。管理棟のほかに、水洗トイレやコインランドリー、コインシャワーのある別棟がありますので、長期滞在に向くキャンプ場だと思います。そのため十和田湖周辺の観光拠点としての利用もオススメだと思います。

10/11〜13訪れました紅葉はまだでしたが湖面と緑のコントラストが美しく、気嵐や日の出が綺麗に見れました。
オープンから30分後の11:30に受付しましたが湖沿いは奥も手前も空いていて選ぶ事ができて良かったです。
施設もレンタル品も申し分なく新幹線でスーツケースで来た私はとても助かりました。

湖畔のフリーサイトにテント張って2泊しました。
タープ張れるスペースが無かったのですが、幸い、3日間全く雨が降らなかったのでタープ不要でした。
元々標高があることに加え、張った場所が十和田湖に向かって北東に面していて、周りは木立なので、良い日陰となって熱中症アラートが出てた日でしたが、心地よく過ごせました。
その分、湿気は多かったです。
フリーサイト場内は、木の根なんかが出ていて、車の移動に気を使いますが、コンパクトカーでもゆっくり走れば問題ありません。
湖面はとても静かで、ときおり通るボートの音が聞こえるくらい。
湖畔の朝日、水辺の沢山のトンボや、夜にはホタル、天の川もはっきり見える満点の星空と、美しいものだらけでした。
問題は、食料含めて現地調達はほぼ不可能なことです。
最寄りのコンビニには峠越えの道で30分以上かかるので、事前の万端の準備は必須です。
私は秋田方面からアクセスしましたが、鹿角市内までにガソリン入れて、食料等調達することを強くお勧めします。
十和田湖は全国的に有名ですが、湖の周りにはほとんど何も商業施設がありません。
キャンプ場のフロントで薪やホワイトガソリンなんかは売ってますが、18時には閉店なので要注意です。
洗濯機、乾燥機、コインシャワーがあるので連泊でも快適でした。
奥入瀬渓谷には車で10分ほどなので、朝昼夕と好きなタイミングで楽しめます。
連泊する方は、初日に良い場所に張れなくても、翌日午前のチェックアウト時に合わせて移動できれば良い場所に移れますよ。

十和田湖畔という最高のロケーション、利用料金の安さ等から人気のキャンプ場です。ランドリーとシャワー（3分100円）が男女別で利用でき、非常に綺麗です。キャンプ場内は未舗装で、特にバイクは地面や木の根の凸凹に注意が必要です。スタッフさんの説明も親切丁寧で、管理棟にはキャンプ用品の他、オリジナルグッズや地ビールも売っています。
フリーサイトの他区画サイト、電源サイト、綺麗なコテージがあり、ソロから大人数まで楽しめるキャンプ場です。

素晴らしい！
※ただし、湖畔のサイトがゲット出来たなら。。
フラットで水際のサイトはそんなに多くありません。
休日前でファミリーサイズのテントを張りたいなら11時受付開始のかなりの前から入口に並ばないと争奪戦に勝利出来ないでしょう。
私は運よく１時間前に到着して２台目。素敵なサイトがゲット出来たので『ここは天国かな』と勘違いした最高の３日間でした。

他のキャンパーさん達もマナーが良くて気持ちよく過ごせました。
スタッフさんもフレンドリーで、管理棟には薪やいざというときのあれこれの販売もされています。
