Yuu Beach

This is a small beach but had plenty of parking. There is a seawall that protects the beach, so there is not a large surf.
This makes it great for paddle boarding a calm swim. The water stays pretty shallow which was great for my small kids.
The beach faces directly east so going to watch the sunrise is amazing. There are plenty of places to walk or jog and enjoy the view.

Yuu Beach is very clean with brown sand and clear blue waters with lazy waves which makes it perfect for families with kids.

There is a parking space which is free and the scenery is so beautiful.

There are rest rooms where you can also change and some sitting area for picnics or just relaxation.

I also saw some people on jetskis so I believe there must be somewhere you can rent them and there was a few people with paddleboats so I guess you can bring yours . I am not sure if dogs are not allowed since I didn't see any.

A very nice beach. Not very crowded in the evening. Lots of parking available.

Nice place for sunrise photos, gate opens from 6a.m to 10p.m.

Clean beach with clear water. Walk along the edge to enjoy the beautiful view of the islands and mountains.

This was a very lovely beach, great coarse sands and clean water. There is easy access parking with maintained walkways and vending available. There is food available for purchase of you didn't bring a ice chest of goodies, no glass container allowed for obvious reasons. The area for swimming is in a man made bay that is closed off from the open sea by a giant net (to prevent jellyfish and sharks) but some smaller sea life is readily available for you to see and swim with. At low tide most of the area inshore of the nets is around 1-2 meters deep so wading is possible for those that aren't great swimmers. All in all a great little beach.

Beautiful beach. Clean. Parking is free. There is a net to keep large critters out. Great to bring goggles and see the fish in the water. Restrooms were very clean.

Peaceful beach for the young kids. My son had a blast playing on the sand and water then got some cheap food on the little boardwalk. The scenery of other islands was nice too. We loved it!

Love this beach. The beach is clean, has clean public bathrooms, concession stands for food and snacks and plenty of parking

Clean beach close to MCAS Iwakuni to enjoy the Japanese summers. Family friendly with clean bathrooms.

This is a nice park to hang out and have fun with friends. There is a restaurant, a museum and a place outside to eat and play games

I really enjoyed being at yuu beach. My daughter and I did our walking exercise . The atmosphere is amazing.
