Hotel is old but well maintained. Room is huge with nice sea view. Great value for money.

Onsen is not crowded too.

I went here for the onsen natural hot water public bath, and I was staying elsewhere in town. Highly recommended, especially the outdoor bath, overlooking the harbour. There are 2 indoor pools, too. The facilities are clean and spacious . Everything I needed was there, including electric foot massagers, comfy chairs, hair dryer, lockers. There's even a baby cot.

I really loved this hotel. We stayed here after a few days of hiking on the Kumano Kodo route, ending at Nachi shrine. While the hotel might be a bit dated, it really has a charm to it and is so clean. We stayed at a lot of places with a hotel Onsen and this was one was by far the best.

Waking up the next morning to the view of the ocean and waves was so peaceful.

The hotel also includes a game room and karaoke room! It’s great!

We had dinner across the street at the little Izakaya - no English but you can use the google translate app that takes photos of the signs to translate.

Excellent staff, good atmosphere. Traditional Japanese room. Kimono are supplied. Don't miss the buffet if you're unfamiliar with Japanese food: you'll get an occasion for an excellent sampling. Seafood, sushi, noodle, ... They got it all!
Also: great outdoor hot spring bath, with view on the Nashi bay.

Stayed here for a night after visiting Kumanonachi taisha.Great service by the ever smiling hotel lady named 'RIE'.Great sea view from our room (826).Fantastic food, not forgetting the onsen!! There is also a game arcade for kids and a karaoke lounge to sing your night away.

Staff was friendly. Good view from my room. Dinner and breakfast is the best!

Really enjoyable onsen with superb views, friendly staff and outstanding dinner served in your room!

12月28日に宿泊しました。
建物が古いって言っても部屋も綺麗だったし海の眺めも潮騒も良かったので
私的には気に入りました。
熊野懐石　お手頃で凄く満足でした。
夕食、朝食ともかなり期待以上でした。
外湯の熱めの温泉、じっくり入ったら
痛いところの患部に沁みるのが良くわかりました。
5回も入ってしまいました。
お子さん連れのご家族も結構来られてて
ほっこりする会話も聞けて気持ちの暖まる楽しい旅行になりました。

先般こちらにお世話になった際、私の個人的な事が有りましたので、トータル的な口コミはナシにして、それを掲載させて頂きます。

私は、偏食が多く特に「玉葱」が苦手です。宿泊予約の際にその旨をお伝えしましたが、料理の中には全て望みどおりにならない物もあるだろうと思っての宿泊でした。

しかし、コースで頼んだ全ての料理に「玉葱」は入っておらず、代替えの食材を使っての素晴らしい料理の数々でした。

不意に気づいたのですが、私の見えにくい所に、この様なメモが…。一瞬アナログ！とも思いましたが、従業員の皆様が、確実に申し送りをして頂く為にここまで徹底した手間をして下さった事に、大変驚きと感謝の思いでございました。

偏食などという、少々お恥ずかしい私の要望を真面目にとらえて下さり、徹底してサービスを施して頂けた事、本当に有り難く思いました。

歴史あるホテルの名に恥じぬ、素晴らしい従業員の方々がいらっしゃる、是非ともお薦めしたいホテルです。

静かな所でしたが、露天風呂の温度が低いのが、少し気になりました。
食事は、凄く美味しかったし、
部屋の露天風呂は、最高でした✨
小さな、ゲ～ムコ～ナ～もあり、楽しみました。

たしかに老朽化を感じますが、スタッフの方々が維持のために頑張っています。特に海外の方々が一生懸命不慣れな日本語でコミュニケーションを取っています。
料理も手の込んだ美味しい物が多数で見た目にも味も満足でした。ごちそうさまでした。

館内キレイ、温泉は露天風呂も内湯も広くて良い、朝食は海を眺めながら。

食事が今までの最高でした。
全部完食しました。特に美味しかったのは味噌汁、だし巻き卵でした✨

露天風呂からの景色が良く、最高でした。
料理もとても美味しかったです。特に朝ご飯が量，質共に良かったです。ホテルは古いですが、良く清掃されて清潔感がありました。特に従業員の皆さんが一生懸命に従事されていましたね。確かに人数が少なく手の回らない所もある様でしたが、特に不快になるような事はありませんでした。
今回、かつうら御苑さんの責任ではないトラブルで宿泊することになりましたが、定年の記念旅行という事もあって大変気遣って頂き、楽しい旅行となりました。ありがとうございました。
