Mishima Rakujuen Park

This is the most worth-it park that I have ever visited in Japan (pay per entry ones). For
300 yen entry fee - you get a mini zoo (think red pandas, alpaca, prairie dogs, miniature horses), a small funfair for kids, a museum, a Japanese style garden, a locomotive, cafes, playgrounds and a variety of native birds.

The park is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. I visited in late winter, but I am sure the park will be stunning in spring considering the abundant sakura and peach blossom trees.

Definitely not to miss if in Mishima.

There's a small entrance fee of 300 yen. A middle -sized park with a small zoo.
Beautiful grounds. Clean and adequate restrooms. An oasis of quiet in the middle of Mishima City.

This is a real family park and great fun. It has a small zoo which every one loves.

There is a lot of open space to play.

Had a lot of fun visiting this mini zoo!!! Very cute alpacas, capybaras, red panda and other animals! Super fun!!!

Officially designated as a place of scenic beauty and a national natural treasure, the Rakujuen Park has a (Manyo forest) that was the backdrop for an anthology of traditional Japanese poetry, the Manyoshu, a small zoo, and an amusement area, as well as a museum of history, and the Rakujukan built in the Takayukashiki Sukiyazukuri style.

This is a beautiful park in the middle of Mishima city. It has a small petting zoo for the children and a train they can ride. The ponds have big fish. The trees are so tall. The flowers are so pretty.They have Festivals on the weekends with food and vendors.

This park is really amazing! There is an old historical house here which gives regular tours (included with your ticket). It was so much fun to go into a traditional Japanese home of a famous person, so beautiful! There is a zoo, as well as a petting zoo where you can pet bunnies, guniea pigs, and more. The animals are so cute!!! The park itself is very pretty. There is a small house of mirrors. There is also a small kids amusement park. Well worth the 300 yen to enter. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you love animals!

Very clean,beautiful & near to Mishima station...but constraints work is going on so I hope it will be more beautiful....

Great for kids and parents. Lots to see and walk with restaurants close by.

One of he famous parks in Japan. Stretched over a wide area at the heart of Mishima shi is the park whose autumn leaves are very beautiful. The flower festival at the end of spring is also very famous and beautiful. There is a small zoo and one vintage locomotive showcased here. This parks main entrance is just in front of Mishima JR station and has an entrance fee for visitors.

11月下旬に訪れました。園内の紅葉は素晴らしい。入園料300円。園内にある郷土資料館も三島宿の様子がわかって良い。

あたたかな陽射しを浴びながら散策。

鳥のさえずりを聞きながら紅葉を眺めた🍁
とても綺麗でした✨

三島駅からすぐの、大きな自然公園。

こちらには、アルパカや馬、カピバラ、豚、モルモットなどの動物もたくさんいます。

とても自然豊かで大きな公園。

馬ががっしりとした体で、きちんと育ってる。
また、中央には絵が飾られている展示館もあり、アクティブワークだけでなく館内も楽しめる。

駅近でこんな場所があるのはかなり良い。
また、300円で入れるというのも良いです。
