Kasama Geijutsunomori Park (Kasama Art Forest Park)

Its nice museum park where you can some paintings, ceramics, and glass art displayed. We got the chance to make our own plate and mug as well. and we also visited the Glass Art museum. However, taking photos inside is not allowed inside the museum. This place is so cool for pottery activities especially for family, kids and oldies. The park outside was also nice but it was just winter when we came and there we had the first snowfall in ibaraki for this year of 2024. That was so amazing

It’s really good place for relaxing or taking kids to there over the weekend. There are park lots, playground and restaurants.

Huge green landscaped park on a hill with mature trees. The grounds contain the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum, a college and cafe. The paths are sloped and suitable for wheelchairs.

Seasonal event: the center of the park hosts the annual Kasama Ceramics Festival in Golden Week with hundreds of stalls by artists, as well as a food court.

I went here in Golden week for a pottery festival. It was organized with around 200 booths with variety of styles. Loved it that day.

Best park ever! They are always having some kind of event! There is a great play space for kids to run around and the family to have a picnic. Also they have a crazy long roller slide.

This park has fast become one of our favoured places to go during the weekend. There is a lot of space for picnic, play and rest. Also there are lot of parking spaces in all 4 car parks, you can find rest rooms and drinking water points everywhere. Perfect for any age to visit and enjoy the atmosphere and nature.

I went to this park surrounded by forest, during the porcelain festival. There are playground equipments for kids and grass land suited for picnic and small stream. Some children were enjoy searching for crayfishes in there. And it has a museum. You can enjoy in this park for all day long.

Amazing Park definitely worth taking your kids to.. especially kids between the ages of 1 - 13ys I would say

Leave aside cultural aspects and just walk around the forest park and you shall find abundant fresh green in the quiet air to breeze. Great spot to spend a few hours.

10月末の爆食祭に行ってきました。
笠間の森のパン屋さんのカレードッグや、とびきり美味しい焼き鳥屋さんの焼き鳥を頂きました。
秋の紅葉も見られ、とても有意義なひとときを過ごせました。
また行きたいです。

広々とした公園の中に、美術館、喫茶店、物販、芝生広場、遊具、スケードボード場がそろっています。公園が広いので、それぞれとっても離れているのでたくさん歩けます。

新栗まつりに行きました。今年は3日間の開催だからなのか、東駐車場余裕で入れました。(大体いつも8時頃着)
イベントの時は駐車場１日500円です。(普段は無料)
駐車券を持って陶芸美術館へ入館すれば、500円返金してくれます。

緑が多く綺麗な公園です。お子さま用遊具あり、広いのでテントを張ってくつろぐ方もいます。

ワンコ連れが多くそれはいいのですが、駐車場へ向かう歩道脇、少し長めの芝？草？が生えている所でワンコがオシッコしているのを二回見掛けました・・・皆様座る時等お気を付けて(^_^;)

この時期は紅葉がきれいでとても心が癒されます。
いつ来ても芝生の手入れが行き届いておりきれいです！アスレチックなど遊具がもう少し増えてくれるといいなと子供を持つ身としては思います
