Bistro Ponsuke

What an awesome place. Not surprising that it had such good reviews. It is an assuming venue run by a lovely gentleman and he was an extremely good cook. It far surpassed expectations. He was able to change the menu on the fly and create relatively sophisticated and very authentic concoctions very quickly, including vegetarian dishes. . Everything from ground lamb to pulled pork to cheese quesadillas and everything inbetween. Strongly recommended. Even the tortillas were made by hand!

Absolutely fantastic service! The handmade tacos are a delight, prepared with a variety of fresh, delicious ingredients sourced from Hokkaido. A must-visit spot!

Highly recommended Mexican fusion restaurant. We are vegetarians and Ponsuke went above and beyond to create a 5 course meal for us which was extremely delicious.

Insane Mexican food. Fusion between Mexican and Japanese cuisine, the flavors are crazy.
Worth switching it up from ramen!

Great Japanese version of Mexican food, the owner looked stressed at times but we found out later his wife was away who normally handles all the english conversations. We had a good time and after the meal was done had a big conversation via google translate. He was so happy that we enjoyed his food so much, the home made bread was outstanding!

Fantastic! The chef is a perfectionist when it comes to food. Each bite was unique amazing. Highly recommend when you want something not Japanese food.

シェフである旦那さんが作るこだわりのメキシコ料理は圧巻でした🥹
シェフはパン職人もされていたようで、提供されたタコス生地やパンまで手作りです✨
大都市圏でもなかなか食べれないと思います。

あえて東川町に出向く価値のあるお店だと思います‼

とうもろこしの優しい香りのタコス。店主がその日の素材とアイデアで作ってくれました。ソムリエの奥様が、妻と相談しながら選んでくれたワインも、お料理に合う、ちょうどいいスパイシーさでした。初めての富良野で、嬉しい時間でした。

富良野から東川に移転して来られたお店です。
雰囲気もお味もサービスも最高です😋予約して行った方がいいです。本当にいいお店です。
駐車場は、向かいのせんとぴゅあに停めれます。

なかなか入りにくいと思う方がいると店主が仰ってましたが、何も考えずにまず行ってみることをおすすめします。

頼んだものは全部美味しかったです！
お肉もいろんな素材が醸し出す複雑な味のソースもいい感じなのですが、私はとにかく粉の部分が絶妙な焼き加減と香りで大好きでした😋　ポンすけさんもメキシカン❣でとても楽しいごはんになりました。富良野に来たら、また必ず行こうと思います。

タコスは皮から手作りで、タコスの具や他の料理も地元の食材を使っているのでとても美味しいかったです。又美味しいワインも色々あり富良野でメキシコ料理オススメです。
