Kanazawa Hyakubangai

Popular and large mall in Kanazawa and is very conveniently connected to Kanazawa train station. It's divided into 3 sections - Rinto with many retailers/stores, Anto with stalls selling sweets and snacks, and another section upstairs with drugstore, grocery, and restaurants.

There are many restaurants all in the same area, it's very convenient and amattached to the train station.

I like such places all around Japanese main stations in it's major metropolitan areas. So convenient for travellers. You can find most of valuable souvenirs from local vendors within the same building of railway station. This one in Kanazawa is particularly fantastic. Restaurants are also very impressive for foreign visitors. Just don't miss the Crab season in winter time, try it at all kinds of restaurants here.

Hyakubangai has many terrific shops and restaurants with easy, convenient access to the train and bus terminals. Foreigners living here frequent Kaldi for import goods, and fashion lovers delight in the clothing and accessories stores on the Rinto side. Need to grab groceries on your way home or back to your Air BnB? Take the escalator to the 2nd floor where you’ll find a small supermarket and a drugstore. On the Anto side, you’ll find a sea of food and gift counters, and many restaurants to choose from, including Kanazawa chains Go Go Curry and Hachiban Ramen.

They have strick implementation of social distancing for entering customers. They know we were foreign so they handed an English menu.
