The lovely lady in the information centre heard me asking the ticket master about changing one of my JR pass reservations and, completely on her initiative came to me later on the platform with times, track numbers, and alternatives written in beautiful hand writing. Very helpful, very polite, a great example of Japanese service and humility.

The very kind and friendly lady at the tourist information counter is a gem!! She speaks great English and actively engages tourists coming into the station to enquire if they need help and supply them with maps and brochures.

A very kind woman helped us get to the right train platformn, speaking impeccable english. She even drew us a map of nice views we would encounter along the trainride. She made our day!

南木曽駅に併設されてます。こちらで、駅スタンプ、砂防カードもらえますよ。パンフレットもけっこうありました。
