Make sure you visit when the festival is on in Spring. Great food and wares to buy and enjoy.

Good: There is a community center with lots of different kinds of sports: badminton, table tennis, volleyball and a very nice kyudou dojo inside.
There is also an indoor pool in the next building, and a dojo with karate and aikido in another building.
Everyone I talked to there, staff or not, were very nice and helpful.

初詣に行きました。公園に島原鉄道第１号の機関車があります。お掃除されてピカピカでした。
３月は初市、４月は桜の花見で賑わう名所です。
近くには島原名物　かんざらし　のお店があります。

自然いっぱいで神社も霊丘神社を中心に潜龍神社、蠶神社、稲荷神社、テニスコート、弓道場もあります。起伏があり、小山もあるので犬の散歩や子供がおにごっこしたりするのにも向いています、島原鉄道の本社前で降りるのがベスト❗
