Halsey Gym

Nice gym

Great outdoor platform and never very busy inside the two indoor Halsey gyms.

Great place to mess around with a basketball for a little bit.

Good for what it is. Most of the inside of the main building is dedicated space for the basketball court with some bikes on the side. There's a medium sized area with padded floors seemingly mostly used for ju-jitsu and the like. The main draw seems to come from it's secondary spaces, like the free weights area located outside and to the right where you can blast music and drop those heavy bars. There's also a 24 hour family gym here that has a good sized kid-area with TVs, a table, and foam building blocks for the little ones.

Clean and well ventilated with all the equipment a person needs to get a healthy work out. Godd social distancing set up as well.

Small but has all that you need

Y'all need AC if you expect people to come to this gym consistently. We shouldn't have to risk heatstroke by standing in a gym much less work out it one.
I give my instructor 5 stars for consistently pushing us to do our best but the gym needs AC.
