Kona’s Coffee Kanagawa Ayase

We initially went there for the rotisserie chicken but the menu was not available on weekdays. Despite that, we tried something else. Everything tasted amazing. Also, the atmosphere was worth every dime. Very cozy and well organized. One caution is that their rum coffee is not weak. I thought it was gonna be mild like a rum-resin ice cream but it wasn’t. 🤣 Coughed after first sip. Lol

Love all the food and vibes, highly recommend the spicy shrimp and açaí bowl! Sometimes its hard to flag down a waiter bc they get busy and there’s no button the the table also there’s always so many people wanting to dine in that I also recommend making a reservation ahead of time! But if you don’t there’s a awesome thrift store to shop at next door!

My go to place for a nice date and ambience is amazing. On the weekends, it’s really crowded with the wait time of an hour so it’s recommended to go on a weekday or have a reservation. All the food and drinks they offer are amazing so it’s worth it!

Came here for Mother’s Day 2023. The food was delicious and worth the price. My favorite was the honey chicken. It was very flavorful and my 5yo loved it! The tiramisu pancakes weren’t too sweet and a great choice for someone who doesn’t like overly sweet things. It was very well made. There was plenty of parking and the staff were kind. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved this place. Reminded me of my time in Honolulu. The feel and atmosphere put me right at ease. I had the Teriyaki Egg Burger with the Wimea Fruit Punch adult beverage and I inhaled my whole meal in about 5 minutes.

Great food for a great value. The theming and seating of the venue is extremely well done. The Honey Mustard Chicken and Pancakes had great texture.

Absolutely love this place, the setting service and food is amazing. Even the to-go food is perfect. Brought a family of 5 and everything was beyond exceptional.

This place has become my family's favorite restaurant. The place looks and feels like you're in Hawaii (I guess), and of course the food is great! We especially like their french fries, but it's not an exaggeration to say that you could love all that they offer in this restaurant. We'll definitely keep coming back here.

Authentic taste of Hawaii. Fantastic meal and good time with friends. The garlic shrimp plate reminded me of plate lunches on North Shore Oahu. Highly recommended. Friends loved the cheeseburgers and pancakes. Loved the macaroni salad. Tasty mock tails as well.

Yes, go and eat here. Take a friend and order to share to try more flavors. This visit we shared banana and strawberry pancakes, rice spam burgers (so savory), and a plate of the fried chicken. The macaroni salad is simple and simply tasty. Buyers beware the Moco Loco is made with Demi glaze sauce and not gravy which hurt the soul of only one in our party. The staff is friendly the ambience is cozy. Highly recommend. Please give this place a couple of tries to really check out the different flavors they offer.

I took my daughter here for brunch, and of course, it was delicious as always! They were very busy and our server was sure to tell us our meal was running a little late and they were terribly sorry. I wanted a to go cup for my coffee and they gave me one happily. Everything was so very delicious!

Man this spot is delicious 😋 good and really close to naf Atsugi base. The burgers are not American style burgers they have a more hamburger steak style to em. The pancakes are awesome a good variety of styles and toppings. Will definitely be back for more. 😋😊

Given my experience with Hawaiian themed restaurants in Japan, I wasn't expecting much when my wife convinced me to try this place. Wow, was I wrong. I can't speak to the authenticity of the food, as I've only been to Hawaii once, but the food and coffer was incredible nonetheless. Definitely pricey, but completely worth it!

You know you’re in for a treat the moment you walk in. The fresh roasting coffee aroma fills the restaurant and the Hawaiian music playing takes you to the islands. There is a small Hawaiian menu, fresh fruit, burgers, fresh fruit drinks, and an assortment of breakfast but not any traditional American breakfast option. The pancakes and coffee here are amazing though. This a family favorite and a must visit if you’re stationed nearby.

Your really going to like it at this restaurant! All plates come out looking better than they look 👀 in the menu.

The vibe let alone the food. Is amazing! I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time but just haven’t had a moment. We came first thing in the morning to avoid the crowd. My friends and I shared a spread of different foods and everything was AMAZING! Highly recommend
