Kagoshima Airport (KOJ)

From Chuo Bus station to Airport, it only took us 1 hour travel.
There are a lot of souvenir shops (that looks expensive), but also have a big family mart where we bought some famichiki. There is also a roof deck to see the planes, and beautiful flowers! Opting to fly to Tokyo was a breeze for us, and time saving too!

Nice small-medium airport for domestic travel. Security was a breeze. Decent selection of restaurants.

That’s a good airport in Kagoshima. Not huge but that’s compact and easy to use here. There are good souvenir shops, lounges and convenience store! You can have a time we’ll with relaxing! You should use this airport to connect to islands in Kagoshima. Good place enjoy!

Time passes very slowly 🐌 here. You will find your heart to be considerably poorer a few days after arriving at this volcano island 🏝

I have used Kagoshima Airport for about 6 years and I have really enjoyed the airport from their lounge to its plane museum/ simulation room and we can not forget about there amazing gift shops overall the airport is a great place and the people are all nice.

A small, linear airport that serves southern Kyushu.

There are an assortment of shops and restaurants including a pharmacy that sells motion sickness medication.

At the roof terrace, there is a deck where you can observe planes in operation.

For access, there is a bus ticket sales counter that will take you to Kagoshima City and other major cities in Kyushu via the motorway. There are also rental car shops across the parking lot with shuttles from the firms.

The airport has a free foot-bath in front. You can get a souvenir towel for ¥200. It's a great way to relax after your flight. Busses to Kagoshima Chuo Station leave from there about every 20 minutes (¥1,200 for adults).

The Christmas tree is so special and the lightning is cool.

Not too far from the city centre if you catch an express bus. Easy to navigate the airport. No problems. Food and omiyage options. Lots of green around.

Very small. The only way to get to the airport by public transportation is bus. But there you can eat some Kagoshima local foods like Keihan Viking and Kibinago. Also you can enjoy foot bath.

Last shuttle bus on the timetable was 21:20. Our plain arrived 21:25 got to the busstop 21:35 and by surprise the shuttle bus was still here. Luck or summer timetables or just Japanese :) anyway I’m happy. Saved me a taxi ride to the nearest train-station.

Nice and easy airport with direct fights to Haneda. There's very cheap parking nearby called Apple parking, 300 yen a day. Very good value for long term parking.

Bussy during holiday. There's sweet potato cake we can buy my favorite cake.

Satsumagoku’s Airport has a dmestic and and international terminal. Shopping is available for local food, souvenirs and liquors.

Had to wait there a couple of hours, plenty of things to do, interesting aviation museum, outdoor foot onsen.. very comfy

Not so big,easy and faster to walk.have prayer for muslim.
