Costco Wholesale Hiroshima Warehouse

Costco Hiroshima:

We found this Costco to be the most accessible in our Japan travel (out of Osaka, Tokyo, and Kyoto). But, let’s talk food!

The Bulgogi bake is tasty! Filling and huge. Never would I imagine eating a bulgogi wrap. The ends are a bit dry, but once you get to the filling it’s superb. ★★★★/5

Shrimp Katsu burger is alright. Nothing too crazy about it. Taste exactly as it sounds. ★★★/5

Strawberry soft serve and Hokkaido soft cream is frigging amazing. It must be the Japanese cream but this is a must try if you are stopping by Costco Japan. It’s a huge portion! We couldn’t finish… too stuffed! ★★★★★/5

The good: you can shop at Costco! It’s open till 8pm. Get the soft serve for sure.

As a Canadian, I absolutely loved to come to this Costco and see what Japanese Costco has to offer. All the sushi looked delicious!!

The Hiroshima Costco is a spacious warehouse that is similar to every other Costco out there. I'm from Southern Ontario, and walking into this warehouse felt like walking into the one in my hometown. Interesting location right beside the Hiroshima Carp stadium. It wasn't very busy when we visited. We went to the resto on the way out and enjoyed a Bulgogi Bake. It was good... it tasted like a variation on a cheesesteak sandwich. Recommended!

Costco in Hiroshima is different, even in Japan. Instead of being located in a distant industrial surrounding, which you need to drive to just like in the States, it is located in the middle of a residential area.

I think the surrounding neighborhood is lucky! If they need something to buy, all they need to do is walk anytime, and not stack up on groceries in the house the way people do on weekends.

Great Costco in Japan. Use your US Costco card and get in. About 1/3 Japan products. Price listed included tax. Great shopping when exchange rate is good.

I didn't know there's a Costo in Hiroshima and this is my 4th visit in town. Luckily I happened to have my Canadian Costco membership with me. I normally stay at a local Airbnb and had been buying my groceries from expensive local stores I could've came here at the beginning of the trip to save a few bucks! For those who loves Japanese eggs they sell 60 pcs in a tray for only 828yen!! We bought 1 bottle of sake and a carton of plum wine to take home since we know the duty free selection is very limited and the deals aren't great! Staffs are courteous and helpful. It is definitely an eye opener visiting a non north american Costco.

Costco is always clean, despite being quite busy every day. I wish some items were in stock more often, but there are always good deals to make a trip from Iwakuni worth it!

Love it. Great selection of imported stuff not easily or cheaply found elsewhere, plus their prices and seasonal offerings are a welcome sight.

Im from Canada and Mexico and I been in Costco USA and let me tell you something brother … this is the best one ever with great brands and amazing fish fresh dishes selection. For the record. Costco Canada you sucks !

This Costco is in a great location next to the Mazda Zoom Zoom stadium. They only take ¥yen or Mastercard so you’re not able to use a Visa card. Their lines are always short and they have a huge selection of great stuff and food.

Was very curious to compare Japanese COSTCO to the ones in North America. Well, it is different but not so much. Same sore layout, same variety of goods they sell. But as a nice touch you can buy some good looking sushi here (in bulk of course), variety of matcha tea, and some other local food.

Super clean and great place to buy stuff at. I love how the people line up to get samples because they are super polite. In America, its a fight to grab samples as people get violent.

Picked up a couple of things while visiting for awhile. No trail mix but ended up with organic protein pretzels. Foot court had a korean beef bake and clam chowder. I regret not ordering something new. Settled for the hot dog. Overall, a good store.

Good service and the best thing is they have a lot of plant based options for Vegans like me.

Some of their items cost less because you buy in bulk. But what I really like about Costco are their meat selection, prepared food (i love their roast chicken and beef and rice), and the food court (I am a fan of their bulgogi bake and chowders)

One of the cheapest places to buy meat in Japan. You can save a lot with their wholesale prices on household needs

If your here on military orders or just decided to move here but miss a little bit of the USA feel it's good place to go. Best part the fruit here! Little spendy but worth it! They have English and japanese books, huge selection on japanese and american foods, both us and japanese clothing sizes! Great place overall!
