Nabee Beach

This is our family's favorite beach. The parking lot is big and free, you're allowed to set up a tent or you can rent one there. There are showers ¥100 for 3 minutes with good water pressure but out of the 3 (I think) there are, 1 or 2 often don't work. Same with toilets.
I think because it is a free beach, it is not maintained enough, so there is often trash there and there are a bunch of sharp rocks underwater.
Also my advice is to watch the tidal waves, because during low tide it gets very shallow and painful to walk over the rocky bottom.

Such a fun beach! Bathrooms, covered patio with picnic tables, ocean activities and plenty of parking available. During swim season, you’re able to swim in a netted area. It doesn’t keep everything out (saw a few fish swim in and out along the perimeter of the net) but we had no issues. Our kids found a small clownfish family swimming in an anemone! A lifeguard is on duty during this time.

We’ve gone a few times during the off season and have still had fun. No lifeguards on duty during the winter. There’s a small jetty to the left of the beach that has a spot for a photo op, and there’s a large swing for photos too (unable to swing, it’s secured to the ground). Further down the beach are some rocky areas, great for exploring. I’d definitely recommend some water shoes/felt bottoms to help protect your feet if you’ll be in that area.

We did one of their ocean activities (raft towed by jet ski) and our son had a lot of fun. Staff was kind and made sure he was comfortable.

There is a small playground nearby. Definitely better for younger kids (my 4 year olds had fun).

Definitely a fun beach to visit if you get a chance. Easy to find too!

Cute community beach and free to enter/park. The beach is beautiful and clean. Have clean shower room and toilet. There are tables to sit and relax. I think it's a good option if you want to go to a beautiful beach in Onna and don't want to pay entry fee or parking fee to hotel beaches. There are also buses and limousines from Naha to this beach.

Nice public beach with all the facilities you would need for a great beach day.

Beautiful beach. Good snorkeling if you swim quite far out, towards the rocks on the right side (outside of the swimming area)! This beach even rivals beaches on the kerama islands.

We stayed in Onna village last year and enjoyed this beach, the snorkelling and banana boat experience. We came back to this beach even though we were staying 50 minutes North by car in Motobu, because there are so many fish and the water is so clear. The larger bay at Motobu allowed sand to be swirlled up by the wind, I think, but the bay here is protected by Manzamo and another peninsula so the water is much clearer. That said, the small cordoned off beach area here, with lifeguard is just boring sand. You still have to venture out at least 50 metres to see fish and coral, which I did on my own from the port side of the rocks enclosing the south side of the lifeguard protected beach. With no lifeguard to protect me, I wear swim shoes, a wetsuit and a self-inflating waist-mounted personal flotation device from aliexpress. No one else ventures out alone it seems, and there are dangers, but if you do, it is like swimming in a crystal clear aquarium with loads of colourful fish. The restaurant above the marine sports place is very good and not all that expensive too. I had the tofu soup with rice and a little sushi for 900 yen. My wife had a mini lobster or giant prawn lunch for 1700 yen. The photo was taken from the restaurant. The banana boat and snorkelling experience is very good but a bit pricey (8000 per person)so I would not have done it if I were not with my children.

I went for a dive to Manza and came here for lunch. The beach is beautiful and you can go swim there. It's not too crowded either. It's close to Manza so you get too see some cliffs as well.

Nabee/Manza Beach is great. The sand is soft and the water is very clear. There are several good spots to see coral and fish if you enjoy snorkeling. There are mang places to swim and you can also rent kayaks, paddle boards, and scuba equipment. There is also an inflatable course on the resort side of the beach that you can use if you purchase tickets.

Nearby is Manzamo cape, it has an excellent view if the coral cliffs and ocean.

If you look for quiet beach whith amazing white sand this one is for you. I just love it! 😍

Parking is free, which is rare in Okinawa nowadays, the beach is quiet, sand is soft, and the beach is clean. Facilities are worthless, none of the sinks and toilets seemed to work but the beach is why you come here.

Nice little beach are to swim and be with the family, they have some volleyball nets, showers and bathrooms.

Nice beach with views. It's free so I recommend it. Bathrooms on site with brand new covered seating for grilling.

Nice Beach, has the big parking area and it's free. Also, there's a small park that your kids will enjoy the slide.

Amazing Beach ...

Nabee Beach is right next to Manza Beach so it was a two for one good time. My children and I loved it. Nabee Beach is a hidden gem. Much of the same activities available at Araha Beach for to me a little cheaper.

Free parking, showers for 100 yens, and hair dryer for 100 yens. I came on April 11th, it was warm 25°C and the water was great, there weren't many people in the water, and it was like having a private beach.

Nice beach, small netted area for kids. There was a large tall swing that was pretty and good for picture taking. The water and beach was very well kept, but the parking was not the greatest. Mainly due to construction. Overall 5/5 💖

To the right of the swimming area towards the resort has some of the best snorkelling we have had in Okinawa lots of fish

Beach is clean, and the views are breathtaking. They have a net in the water.
