Nihonkyodoomochanoyado Atsugi Museum

秘密の穴場　癒されほっこり　お湯よし、特にいのしし料理したづつみ😃

A friend who lives in the area booked this place for lunch. Lunch was served in a private tatami room with an open view of the countryside of Atsugi. The recommened Kaiseki lunch set was very filling and had a little bit of everything- sashimi, tempura, stewed fish, pickles and cold appetizers, and it was served with a generous portion of rice and ("tonjiru") pork and vegetable miso soup. Well presented and everything was delicious. The place has a homey vibe, but it's a bit run-down. It's run by a group of lovely elderly ladies, so the interior is very kitsch and with Japanese knick knacks of all sorts. Lobby is filled with display cases of paper mache ornaments and traditional Japanese toys, and the wall displays are photos and autographs of local celebrities. Interesting place to have lunch if you are in the area. Very relaxing with a homey vibe.

全国各地の郷土土産が展示されています。姫だるまもありました。宿泊施設内に展示されていましたが、施設側の御厚意でいろいろ見せていただきました。

温泉ではない、トロント温泉、肌つるつるになりました。でも、おばさんの自慢話を聞かないといけないのが、難点です。
日帰りで充分、宿泊することはないかな。

郷土玩具の鮎土鈴とかいうのに少し興味がある。
