Oita Agricultural Park

Great, free outing with the family! Huge flower park surrounding a giant reservoir. Rental bikes, lots of paths and picnic areas, large fields to play in, rental paddle boats, a mini-Zoo, a pretty dangerous jungle gym contraption; this place has it all!

Lots of classes to take, please reserve in advance. And seasonal flowers year round. Kabosu soft serve (all flavors are ¥360)!!

Other flavors are: kitsuki green tea, milk, pear (winter), blueberry (fall) and many other seasonal flavors

One of my favorite places in Oita!
Highly recommend it if you like walks around big bodies of water. I think it's about 4km around. Depends on the path you take. There are 3 playgrounds but only 2 are worth mentioning. Both are fun for the children. There is a nice path around the lake BUT for some odd reason they do not allow bikes everywhere on the path. Some places you can bike. Some you can't. And they rent bikes here! Strange.
You cannot swim here but they have some of those duck/swan boats you can rent. Lots of people fishing here.
If it's too hot or too cold outside you can head to the indoor botanical garden or indoor children's play area. Some tables for parents/adults to relax at. They have a small fast food restaurant inside but choices are limited. Lots of free parking outside.
Bring a shade tent if you plan to visit during the summer. Most seating areas are not covered.

A great place for a family trip. Young kids can enjoy 3 large playgrounds.

Absolutely free park to visit! Look for RuRuPark for the nemophila in the spring and kochia in the fall.

しっかり回ろうとすると、1日では足りなさそうなほど広くて、景色もきれいです。私の行った時期はネモフィラがとてもキレイでした。
入場無料ですし、子供も楽しめる施設もたくさんあるので、子供から大人年齢問わず誰でも楽しめると思います。

コキアが見頃ということで来園しましたが、いろんなメディアで紹介されていたから昼前で駐車場は満タンでとんでもない人出でした。
肝心のコキアは素晴らしい真紅で目を楽しませてくれました。
芝生広場に敷物敷いてゆっくり昼寝でもと思いましたが凄い人で賑やか過ぎたのし、30分も見ていたら飽きたのでお土産買って帰りましたが、小さなお子さん連れなんかは遊具もありますし一日楽しめると思いますよ
しかし人が多すぎてアンテナは立つのですが、携帯がほぼ繋がらなくなりました。

一日ゆっくり過ごせる広い公園で季節の花々を楽しめます。公園の中にレンタサイクルや遊び場やキャンプ場、農園やミニ動物園があり、駐車場も広く入場無料なのが嬉しい。中でも日本有数の椿園があります。世界椿協会から表彰される程の広さと種類。お勧めは椿祭りの頃。

コキアを見に行きました😃広い園内、コキアは入ってから3分程のところにありました。きれいに紅葉していました☺目指ダムの中ではスワンのボートや、遊園地、定期的に走るかわいいバス、キャンプ場もあり、１日過ごしたい所です。トイレや、カフェ、地場の食べ物、お弁当も販売されています。ソフトクリームは大変美味しかったです😃

コキアがたくさん植えられていてかわいいです。
広々とした敷地を自転車や徒歩で回るのも楽しいです。
行楽シーズンはお弁当を持って行きたくなりますね。

コキアを見に行きました。
全ての花や樹がキレイに管理されていてキレイでした。
丁度コキアのあたりの風景に大きな池があって、風も心地よくて良かったです(*^^*)

10月末だったので燃えるような赤コキアの最盛期は過ぎていましたが黄金色に染まったコキアはダム湖と青空に映えて美しかったです。
四季折々の花､小鳥のさえずり､木々の移ろいを目耳にしながらの散歩やウォーキングは十分楽しめます｡

入園無料なのがいい ネモフィラが綺麗だった 特産物などの建物は空調が付いてないため暑い

毎年見頃になると訪れます。(((^^;)
今日はあいにくの雨で人はまばらでしたが
コキア綺麗でした。(*^^*)
