Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Minoh Kankō Hotel

It’s a big old nice hotel in Kiso Valley; but you need a car. The hotel has a well organized shuttle service that takes you into the main town and with a little planning you can take a train/bus for a day trip to a couple of the side towns, but it’s not easy.
It seems like a place designed for overworked Japanese to relax. English was fairly nonexistent and the funny thing about this giant hotel was that it had no bar or lounge really for after dinner conversation. There were a few scattered chairs in the lobby, so there was really nothing to do which I think was the plan of the hotel. it had a huge well equipped onsen (Japanese spa) both indoor and outdoors, and most guests really seem to enjoy it as I did.

This Onsen hotel chain again didn't disappoint me. The hot springs are awesome- soak in the bath with million dollar night light views, the room is clean, buffet breakfast and dinner are both delicious with a lot of options. They even have all you can drink alcohol included for dinner. Location is awesome: elevator down to the Minoh station can get you to the trailhead to jog or walk to the Minoh falls.we enjoyed the Japanese dance performance and jazz performances in the hotel.

This Minoh Kanko Hotel is the ideal Hotel if you want to chill-out and unwind. My Wife & I stayed a night here and were overwhelmed with all the facilities and the service. Our room was perfect, the spa was fantastic, the food was plenty-full and a huge selection, the staff very attentive and courteous. All-in-all, we received value-for-money. Highly recommended.

It has been my favorite relaxation place since I moved to Minoh two yeas ago. I go at least once in every few months and enter with the night time ticket which costs around 1300 Yen for the bath entry.

Went with a few friends to use the onsen, but didn't stay at the hotel. Guest services are great and friendly, and Osaka residents get a really big discount.

The onsen is clean, well maintained, and beautifully designed.

Wonderful experience. Great food and hot spring. Best place to relax. We were able to stay one night only due to schedule. Will come back again

The buffet was amazing. It's almost worth just going for that. The hot springs on the top floors alternative between men and women for the one that has the great view.

The outdoor hot spring baths were absolutely amazing. I went the one at night and the different one in the early morning. Enjoyed the serenity and the view ❤

There is SFC we can play. I enjoyed many games. And I ate noodles, it was very good.

Excellent hotel onsen, roof top baths are the best. Nice traditional rooms.
