Sapporo Science Center

Many science exhibits spent over 2 hours here looking at all of them. Take a side trip here to shin sapporo station. Entrance fee only 700yen excluding planetarium. Little English but still fun to see. Lots of interactive demos and exhibits.

Science Museum is a go to place. Children can explore and learn many things while enjoying the "learning through interaction" method. There is also Sapporo Aqurium beside it, as well as a Mall with restaurant such as KFC.

Must place to visit if you're in the area. Tons of interactive booths to entertain and educate both adults and children.

Recommended for kids! Many items to be hands-off which can keep them excited. There are workshops where you sign-up for your kids to make some science related souvenirs. Recommend to get the planetarium show ticket too. There is also a cafeteria when you can bring your own food. Easily spent 4-5 hours there.

Great experience for the kids, normally have good events. The planetarium room is a great experience. Enjoyed watching the stars!

We visited with our kids (one and three) and had an amazing time. Lots of stuff to play and experiment. Not much english but everything is pretty self explanatory. Easy to reach by train.

２年間のリニューアル工事待ちで待望のオープン、以前よりスッキリした感じ。大人も楽しいが子ども達に遠慮がちに楽しむ。体験型の展示が増えたのでしょうか？「スケルトン」は大人気。マイナス３５度の部屋はまだ未開発のようでこれからが楽しみに、札幌市民は経験者少ない低温ですよね。
ネットで事前購入出来るのはとても良い。
子ども連れてファミリーで行くのも良いと思います。

2024GW明けの平日だったためか、リニューアルオープンから約1ヶ月後でしたが、空いていて童心に戻って楽しめました☆

地下鉄運転や除雪車の運転疑似体験、カーリングやスケルトンの動作体験もできます！

到着後、タイミング良く開始直前でも良席でプラネタリウムも見ることができました♪

待ち時間が30分や90分という案内掲示板も立て掛けてあったので、平日に行ける方は土日祝日を避けた方が良いかもしれません^ ^

リニューアルオープンしてから行きました。懐かしいものと目新しいものがあり、たっぷり楽しめました。何と言っても除雪車を間近で見たり、操縦体験できるところが良かったです！

小学1年生の子どもと一緒に行きました。解説にふりがながふられていないところが多く、自分で読めたらもっと興味を持てそうなのになぁと思う箇所が多々ありました。

平日は待ち時間も無く、カーリングやボブスレー、氷柱作り体験で何回も遊ぶことが出来ました。
館内も明るくお手洗いもきれいで清潔感があります。
お子様だけではなく大人も学びながら遊ぶことが出来ます。
北海道らしく雪の結晶や除雪機に乗れる体験もあるので、道外の観光客の方にもオススメ致します。
