Nice village. Has some good food stalls. You can get some imported goods as well from the gift shop. There is stuff for kids and adults to do.

Winter Illumination is set with over 2 million LED lights. The theme of the illumination was on Gulliver's Travels. German bakery, fire activities, jurrasic theme park, magic show... everything is incomparably beautiful here. And Mount Fuji san was clearly visible in the evening. Everything were shinning brightest.

Much to do during the day as well. Ideally one should go there 1-2 hours before the sunset and enjoy the beauty of this very well kept place. A lot of stuff for kids to do, and equally enjoyable for elders. Sunset view is amazing from here, and you can be lucky to see a glimpse of Mount Fuji from there too. The new Jurassic Park auto ride is very interesting. A lovable place to spend quality family time, or with friends.

Taken in April 2015. Such a lovely place to visit! You may need to keep yourself warm because that place is really cold!

Fabulous place to spend your day with outdoor fun activities for kids as well as adults.
We love this place.
We visit this place 3-4 times a year (in every season)
Evening illumination is no doubt mesmerising.
Many paid activities are available you can get a one day pass as well.
Food court and shops are nice. Every time they have something new added to the park.

It is a beautiful place that cannot be described in words. If you want to see the beauty there, you have to stay till night. The illumination is beautiful. A place where you can have a lot of fun. There is a lot of space for children to play. There is also a place to buy gifts

Good place with many activity center and good for children. Need to travel with car since it’s a vast place formed in a mountain area and moving around place is quite difficult. This is an annual winter destination for our family - an amazing light display, gift shops with imported meats, spirits and treats, a 'german' bakery and plenty of snacks, stalls and BBQ options to please everyone. Since we only go for the lights some of the daytime offerings are losg to us but they have a ferris wheel (pay to ride) and a really large open grass play yard with swings and the like so kids can play.

Super fun place to go! Reminds me of walking down Main Street at Disney Land! You can’t help but smile and be amazed the whole time you are there. There are millions of lights in all kind of different shapes and pictures. Every 15 minutes in the main square there is a music light show which played both Japanese and American songs, super fun! The staff are super helpful and extremely nice. Highly recommend a trip during the light festival in the winter!

Went to this place to saw illumination, and it was beautiful! I really enjoyed the illumination.
The place is so big,its a very good place to bring your kids to play since the entrance fee is counted as per car not per person.
They have some performances, eventhough the performance seems not related to German at all, but I enjoyed.

The location itself is not in Tokyo eventhough the name is Tokyo, it’s located in Chiba.
The performance like paprika song, and other kids song made this place is an ideal place to spend time with kids&family

Better go with a car. but wide range place made kids open and run around till they get tired.
I didn’t feel that much ‘German vives’ from here but I liked it anyway.

Lots of attraction but unfortunately closed some of it because of rain the day before. so attention of the forecast before you come.

Great experience for kids and families. Don't go by the name 'German' though. During day time enjoy the amusement park, flower plantations etc. And once the sun sets down, enjoy the winter illumination. It's splendid and amazing. The perspective changes when you climb up the ferris wheel and see the same illumination again. From the ferris wheel the lighting takes up shape. Each year the theme of lighting changes.

The entry is 3000 yen flat for each car, irrespective of the number of people inside the car. For anothet 2000 yen you can but a day pass which is valid on most rides + the ferris wheel.

Plenty of food options as well. I personally liked the German themed souvenir store. I recommend you to visit this place for a fun weekend trip. Please note - Rail/ bus is bad.

One of the best illumination in Japan!! It is like in a fantasy world at night. There is seperate entrance fee for the lantern festival, but the illumination outside the lantern festival itself is pretty good!

Great place to visit during the day. Lots of activities like mini-golf, petting zoo, multiple play areas for children and more.

The place really comes alive at night! The illumination set up is world class and I was shocked at how detailed and extravagant it was! Its a doable for a day trip from Tokyo and I would highly recommend it.
